Did not enjoy the accommodation at all

Not much except bed was comfortable

Floors not clean, only 2 drinking glasses and not many cups. Constant sewerage smell in the bathroom. Cutlery not very good. No indication of the steps to get into the property when booking. Quilt on bed not adequate. Well below standard

Comfortable flat, great location

Very comfortable and convenient apartment in a beautiful location. Not far from the station. Also close to bus routes. Great aircon and smart TV.

Lovely homely space in gorgeous beach town

We visited in the peak of summer and the air conditioning and large fridge and freezer were needed! Beds were comfy. It was a lovely homely space.

Great potential but apartment managing company needs improvements to their process

Great location and nice apartment with renovated kitchen & bathroom. Quiet location and apartment in close proximity to exploring Villefranche.

Check in process was terrible - incorrect communication about code for lock box. Had to call and was then sent check in information for a different property. Had to text and call back multiple times to obtain the correct code. Was never sent property information. Very disappointing & frustrating with luggage on the tiny street area, and ended up getting charged $100+ by cell phone company due to international calls and data use to resolve the apartment manager's mistakes. On top of that, cleanliness of apartment is in question - toilet was not cleaned prior to my arrival and floor felt sticky/unclean.

A very enjoyable stay in a heritage town close to Nice, beaches and mountains.

Location is very central to the old town of Villefranche. We were able to shop locally and eat our fresh bread and croissants in the apartment. It is close to small restaurants and bars, so we did not have to go into Nice to eat and drink. The apartment is close to bus and train stations. A lovely sandy beach is a short walk away.

Despite paying our full rental bill 14 days before our departure, and despite numerous emails, messages sent via the Booking.com message site and later phone calls requesting travel information from Nice airport etc and as to how we were to access the apartment, we heard nothing until 12 hours before we were due to arrive in Nice. We set off from here without knowing the exact location of the apartment and means to access it. With stories circulating on the web about airbnb rental scams, this caused us unnecessary stress. Everything worked out well, but we could have done without it.
