The area is best known for its hops and many farm shops, and cider/perry producers can be found locally.

The River Frome is nearby for those who like to enjoy canoeing and similar activities. Brockhampton Estate, Shortwood Farm, the Black and White Trail, Ledbury town with its timber framed buildings and historic 17th century market hall, and the city of Hereford with its cathedral and Mappa Mundi, are all a short drive away. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile drive away (not suitable for walking).
