The cleanliness, the food awaiting us, the beds, the view, the location, the resturants.

The toaster, very weak, took two cycles to light brown. Very comfy sofa, but very low making it a bit of a problem to get up, for 2 in their 80's.

Clean, well equipped and nice view. Felt safe.

Grill didn’t work, T.V needed to be reset. Needed diagram on which symbol to press on entry.

We did not understand the key lock safe, they came and showed us how it worked and how to lock it when we left There also was food for us in the fridge which we used and replaced. I drew a cartoon in appreciation as REX the Australian cartoonist and left it for them.

Clear instructions and easy check-in. The apartment has it's own car parking space. Comfortable space with well equipped kitchen including some essentials in the fridge (Thank you). All pots & pans that you need to prepare a meal should you decide to eat in. Comfortable lounge area to relax in, and balcony with a lovely view over the water area. Balcony catches the sun most of the day. Comfortable bed and quiet neighbourhood guarantees a good nights sleep. Conveniently located with just a short walk to supermarket, bars and eateries, local shops and historic canal basin attractions. Would definitely be the first choice when we return to the area.

The location was excellent, with a direct view over the water and local ducks! We were very grateful for some food essentials left in the fridge. The balcony looked out over the water and we could have eaten our meals out there if we wished. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable with all you might require for a visit provided.

The televisions didn't seem to have the main Freeview channels, but that didn't spoil our break.

Absolutely stunning apartment. Our engineers were only unhappy that their stay was so short! If we carry out works here again, they'd love to stay again.

We liked everything about the apartment. It was lovely.

Apartment was really well appointed with lots of special touches, boardgames etc. Host Julie was very helpful (especially when I had trouble opening the key safe!).

The only "down" was that the sun shines straight into the lounge room (and bedrooms) during the afternoons, making it very warm and meaning that you cannot use the balcony on a sunny afternoon.

Lovely location and a well equipped and comfortable apartment. We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the basin and a lovely sunshine week. We were able to take many trips out for good walks and exploring the area/local towns.

There were a few odd noises within the building overnight which woke us up.

Great apartment, great location & lovely extra touches provided by the hosts.

The location was great. Parking was good . It all felt safe . Very nicely decorated , with some lovely pictures .

We had to do some cleaning on arrival . The salad compartment was grubby, the microwave wasn’t clean and some work tops had not been wiped . There was no milk left in the fridge as mentioned in other reviews , there were other bits in there . We weren’t sure if they were ok to use or not . The bed cover in one bedroom had a big black mark on it . Unfortunately the bathroom and one bedroom absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and other stale substances , as did the balcony , which had evidence of this , with a very full ceramic pot . I had to move into the second bedroom, as the smell caused me a massive headache and nausea, yes, it really was that bad . We were told by the owner that the cleaner had walked into an almost trashed apartment , disgraceful behaviour by the previous tenants , they couldn’t even be bothered to throw empty beer bottles away . Such poor respect for an apartment .

Amazing apartment. Photos don't do it justice. Amazing views and incredible extras that other apartments wouldn't even class as necessities. Hairdryer, extra blankets, extra pillows, cleaning facilities. And leaving fresh milk etc in fridge is so considerate.

Very clean, complimentary groceries and tea/ coffee, excellent facilities, convenient location, dedicated parking space.

Could do with a rubber bath mat to avoid slipping getting in and out of the shower as it’s quite high and the handle on the wall is a suction one so I didn’t really trust it.

i thought it was a non smoking apartment but it reeked of cigaretttes.

This apartment was in a prime position for access to all the facilities in the area. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts had even left us goodies in the fridge, which was a lovely touch, as we had taken our grandson on the weekend for a little break, and he enjoyed the cake very much. :) We will definitely be coming back! Thank you again :)

Everything was just as it should have been and more! Beautiful apartment, beautiful setting and scenery! We have stayed in the area before as we had a touring caravan, so we like the area very much! It was very nice to return to the area and stay in a lovely apartment!
