Location was great, room was nice, tidy and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom window handle was partially missing and needed replacing, although this was a very minor point overall, which didn't really detract from the trip at all.

Clean, simple room with decent bathroom / shower and great view of River Severn. Convenient parking, very quiet overnight. Good value place to stay in Stourport. Dog friendly. Fridge in room.

Only think we liked was the bed was comfy and the surrounding area was lovely.

Staff were rude on arrival, had to wait as was told we need to make sure youbare booked, then waited for key for room. No where for buggy downstairs so was told we would have to take the buggy up and down the stairs which was very inconvenient. There was a dark barging upstairs which you could hear and the place had a bad odour to it. It's ok putting nice pictures of the place but the pictures dont reflect what we stayed in and I would have asked for a refund but not sure as we booked through booking.com.

The Angel Inn was perfectly located on the riverbank close to the marina. We were able to watch the rowing event that we had travelled down for from just outside in the beer garden! We received a very warm welcome from the landlord upon arrival who made us feel really at home!

Central location and lovely view of the river. Landlord was very friendly and accommodating. Check-out was very easy.

Quite small twin beds - I couldn’t sleep comfortably as my feet were hanging over the end of the bed. Bed linen looked reasonably clean but the pillows had a slight odour. Lots of dust and cobwebs in the room - the walls, windows and fittings need a good clean. The room was a bit tired and needs a refresh. There were also no glasses for water. Overall, I would expect a cleaner room with more facilities for the cost of the stay.

Needed a bed for the night and the location was spot on and the staff super friendly. Didn't get the opportunity to sample the beers or food but maybe another time. We were also a little worried about the music playing outside the bedroom window but at 10pm it stopped dead, mid-track! If this is usual practice then thank you (although I was singing along at the time!)

The experience was let down by the decor and fittings, the entrance staircase and room #3 really could do with a facelift.

Excellent position near the river but also short walk to town and parking available at property . Staff were all very friendly and room clean. Excellent steaks served in Restaurant , highly recommended

I had to cancel my stay and book elsewhere because the advertised Wi-Fi could not be guaranteed to be working in my room and when I phoned the angel inn to check I was told that it sometimes dropped out. As I was relying on wifi to work a cancellation was my only option. I was disappointed because I contacted the pub immediately after my booking (and after reading some negative reviews relating to wifi) to check. The pub did not come back to me for over a day and I had to phone them. during our conversation, they told me that the delay had caused me to lose my penalty free cancellation period which they were intending to charge me. This was not fair because I only booked based upon the pubs marketing which stated that there was Wi-Fi in all rooms. To be fair, when I phoned the pub they were friendly and honest with me about the lack of Wi-Fi which prevented a work disaster and I’m grateful for that. And Booking.com. liaised with the pub and refunded my deposit so all ended well. I did see the Pub from a distance as I had friends nearby who had a boat in the marina and they said the pub was lovely. And the location was certainly great. It was probably my mistake to have considered this Pub for a work stay.

Location was good looking Iooking over the river but very limited parking. Beer was good.

Room was not quiet. It was also directly above the outside area which played loud music and a lot of noise. Breakfast was non existent, I was told if I wanted breakfast to go to a cafe round the corner. Food was terrible. Manager decided to close bar early as not enough customers. Bad smell in bedroom from the drains

It would be nice, to have breakfast included, but there are places to eat in the town. Rooms need a really good clean. Dirty skirting boards, shower needs re grouting and visible pipes, toilet base and sink needs a really good scrub.

Location was perfect for me. Right on the river, next to the canal basin, 2 minutes from pubs and restaurants in town (The Holly Bush being the best). As I was cycling the canal the following day it couldn't be better. The pub was busy, and served food in the evening (but no breakfast). Beer at £2.70 for a nice pint so can't complain at all. Wifi was adequate if a bit slow. Bed comfortable, shower a bit cramped but hot. Car park next to the pub. All very informal which was nice.

Could do with a bit of a refurb, but it suited me as a sweaty cyclist so I'm not complaining at all. TV in my room didn't work, but again, I didn't need it.

dusty blinds at window and dirty windows full of cob webs unable to open them. Metal Bed squeaky and rocky, Pillows an mattress stained, sheets clean but old. Room dark and not very welcoming bathroom looked clean But shower was faulty no knob to turn it on so couldn't use. Facilities stated they had restaurant and food , when asked about breakfast owner said no cause he did not have a pan let alone know how to cook, service very disorganised at bar had to wait 10 minutes before getting served and place wasn't even that busy

I booked in advance through Booking.com which I use multiple times a year and have never had a problem with until this booking. We arrived at 5pm and checked in and paid by credit card. All good so far and were given our keys and instructions on how to find our room. We unpacked and noted there was no milk to go with the tea bags and coffee sachets and made a mental note to ask for some milk when we went back down. However when we did get back downstairs the pub had closed - this was at 6pm and all the details stated it would have normal pub hours ie till 23.00 and that there was a restaurant. Not so. The place was dead as a Dodo. So off we went to Tesco's to get some milk and then to find a pub that was open. As for the night itself, if you like sleeping on the floor, you will like this rock-hard bed - and if you don't like lighting then that's good too as there is only one bedside light. If your hearing is not so good, that's also useful as our neighbour's snoring reverberated around our room. Finally to add insult to injury, before the evening ended, The Angel Inn had informed Booking.com that I was a "no-show"... I can't fault everything as the room was clean and the view of the river is lovely, but can I suggest you have a drink there to look at the river drifting by and then find somewhere else to overnight. My recommendation (same price bracket) would be a Premier Inn where your beds and pillows are guaranteed to be comfortable and lighting is abundant...

The staff were very difficult about checking in. It took a long conversation to eventually get a key for the room. My booking stated a bathroom with bath but there was only a small shower. Overall we were disappointed with everything.
