Pub staff and the locals were very friendly . Breakfast in the morning was great . Rooms were very clean .

Dont serve evening meals but you can get takeaways and eat in the upstairs kitchen .. I could feel the springs in the mattress ? Maybevit was too soft but thats my preference

Value for money, great setting along a beautiful canal and very quiet definitely coming back. Walking distance to the town and a lovely pub itself plus friendly staff.

A bit off the beaten track, but an ideal location next to the canal. Easy to find and free parking. The room we had looked out over the canal. Very comfortable and very clean. WiFi was free. Always a bonus. Might have anouther trip to Stourport On Seven and will book in at The Bird In Hand if there's availability. The breakfast was the muts nuts. No problem at all with it.

Food in the evening would be nice.

Nice, clean and central for our stay. Particularly liked the little shared kitchen facilities. Will use for subsequent trips. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment but we had a comfortable stay, nice and quiet location.

We have had a drink in the Bird In Hand a few years ago but never stayed before but believe me, we will definitely be back. The set up for guests is amazing. The rooms are clean and airy with every thing you need including a fan! The communal area is a brilliant space. It has a sink and fridge together with a seating area where you can eat a take away (menus provided!) There is an iron and ironing board together with a hair dryer for guests to use if required. The breakfast was amazing and the landlady couldn't do enough. The location is great with plenty of car parking and it is only a short walk up the canal to the town.

Brilliant location right on the cannel with many pubs & Stourport On Severn close. Nice sitting on the balcony watching the cannel. Plus the shared mini-kitchen useful. Landlord friendly & helpful.

Would have preferred a double bed, rather than 2 singles - but knew this when booking. Everything else good.

Reasonable sized basic room Clean but a bit dated. Very friendly lady who showed us everything. Probably best at weekends, the bar downstairs closed at about 8 pm and there was no food available when we there there. Short walk along the towpath into town where there is plenty of choice for food and drink.

Nothing really a bit run down is all. Beware Google maps navigation. The post code doesn't take you to the car park.

The location is great, really quite spot next to the canal and a short walk along the canal to Stourport itself. The bar had a nice atmosphere full of very welcoming locals. The management were also very helpful (Landlady was spot on) seemed like nothing was to much trouble.

The location was absolutely fab, right on the canal with a lovely path which ran along the canal which takes you into the town centre. The pub itself was nice and had nice outside spaces to sit and have a drink. The rooms had a separate entrance which was great and the communal area was good and provided plates, cutlery, iron, ironing board etc. There were also takeaway menus in case you wanted food.

I messaged via Booking.com to ask whether we could add breakfast to our booking 5 days before our stay (I didn't add the breakfast at the time of booking as we were staying there to attend a funeral early the next morning, so wasn't sure if we would have the time but it turned out we were closer than we thought to the crematorium).. I didn't get an answer to my message, so I called 2 days before we were due to arrive and spoke to a lady who said that was fine, just pay for it on arrival. I said I wanted to give a bit of notice to add our breakfast and was told 'don't worry, I've got lots in'. On arrival, I mentioned all of the above and was told 'I can't really do that, I'd have to go and get the stuff'. So we didn't have breakfast! The rooms booked were Double or Twin but both rooms we reserved were twin rooms which was fine, but the beds were really narrow and soft which might suit some people, but we didn't have a great night sleep. The rooms could've done with a bit of a dust and vacuum but the bathroom was nice and clean. Also, check in was 3pm and we intended to get some food when we arrived but the pub stopped serving food at 3pm on the Sunday, so we were pointed in the direction of the various takeaway menus. We also thought we would have a wander into the town and maybe go back for a drink before going to bed, but the pub shut at 8pm (it was a Sunday though). I don't like to leave a negative review and we've stayed in lots of place (including pubs)/B&B's etc but this place didn't quite do it for us unfortunately.
