I only stayed for the night, but hardly got any sleep. The room was not very clean, there was a dead spider on the carpet & the Bathroom smelt musty? The room was extremely cold, & there was a banging window / door from somewhere else in the building throughout the night. On top of this the TV did not work. The whole hotel is really due a refresh - lots of chipped paint & out of date decor.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Main Reception guy was really helpful. Young lad at breakfast was polite and always had time to help. Barman was nice and polite and even gave us glass for the room.

This hotel has been left to go into disrepair for many many years. Upon our arrival is was obvious that there was only 2 members of staff across the entire hotel. 1st our room was not ready and we actually did not receive our fill complement of bedding until 9am (versus a 3pm check in). We went to the bar area to wait.... tables were filthy and the whole place was in need of cleaning, served by the same person who would later deliver our bedding to the room. We refused to eat there. Other issues include hidden charges for our dog and for me to use the gym but the worst part was the upkeep of the hotel. Comparing the hotel to the pictures I booked against the difference was stark and it is obvious to me that the pictures were staged and the hotel has not looked like these pictures for many many years.

Did not stay at this Hotel. Booked on the app and even when the app suggested there was rooms available the Hotel phoned me after booking to inform me that No rooms available. Still not received a refund or any communication from Hotels.com OR hotel. Having to claim through bank for ‘No service provided’. All reward money was used on this booking (£57.00) not returned this either. Terrible experience- it should be a contractual agreement that they provide a hotel when paid.

Clean room. Mostly very friendly and helpful staff. Great gym and good pool but halleay to pool and steam-room need improving. Incredibly musty small in hallway to gym from hotel.

Bed was terrible, cheap and nasty. I even found myself checking for bedbugs as the room didn’t feel clean. They only gave us 1 shower towel. Shower itself didn’t feel clean, very dated and water pressure was just average. Lighting in there was terrible, was almost a blue light. No aircon in the room, we was on the ground floor to had to have the window open all night to let some air in (of what little air there was) then all we could hear was people talking on the carpark all night. Staff were very friendly upon arrival, however I don’t think this hotel is worthy of 4*. Needs a full retrofit to make it up to 2025 hotel sort of standards… power sockets at bedsides etc

Room had a shower that was unusable. Barely a trickle. When brought to staff attention we were told this was a "special amenity" and meant only to be a hand shower. We also had no tv remote and just 2 channels when one was located. Room was also sickeningly warm. Asked to swap rooms but denied. Room was dusty with silverfish on ceiling

Stayed at the manor hotel for a night with my partner, we both thought the hotel was great. We used the spa and loved the discount for hotel guests. The service was amazing, the staff very helpful and welcoming. In regard to the facilities we didn’t have a shower that worked HOWEVER this was quickly rectified by the hotel desk. We had two options, 1. We move rooms or 2. We can use the shower in an unused room. They were so lovely in the situation and I had everything I needed, thank you again I would love to come back to the hotel in the future! Well worth it.

Lovely property. Very well placed for the castle and minister. Good bars and restaurants. Loo seat downstairs needs fixing. No where to park . Mangled it over the road. Very clean and nice decor. Good value for money. When phoning owner was very helpful.

We had a good time, staff where polite are areas of concern where the place feels alittle worn, rusty bath plug shower head leaking stains of carpet leading to the room and cobwebs on windows, it felt the place needs a little TLC to bring it up to a higher level , staff where fine the waitress at the evening meal had a lovely smile the others just did the job.

Worst hotel experience in a long time. No full time reception. You have to pay for gym and pool - so these are falsely advertised. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff when you could find them were helpful.

Stayed there for 3 days nice quiet plane beautiful old mannor and lovely garden .. room was ok . Plug sockets are other side of the room so if you caharge your phone at night time you will definitely jump out of bed to turn your alarm off .. towels was changed every day .. 2 thing what bugged me was the shower as the bracket was facing the wall so I had to hold the head to wash .. that is poor .. 17:50 for a breakfast what seems over the top for what it is .. good cafes in the town at half the price .. in the evenings we all eaten out as it seemed over priced for what they are serving .. but apart from that this has potential to be a great place if more effort was involved

This was our 5th stay at the hotel,one if the attractions is the indoor pool & spa facilities, but they now charge £5 per head per night which is not made clear on their website or when booking. The room was just to say warm, but you couldn't turn the heating up at all, it was on full. Also now looking very worn and tired, probably because of the times it has changed ownership. This will be our last stay.

My room was very cold, I know the outside temperature was very cold, however the radiator in the room was only warm rather than hot! The shower height was only 5 feet approximately which is ridiculous for anyone over 5 feet tall. Breakfast is out of sorts now, you used to get a cooked buffet breakfast selection, now it is a personal order which adds time on? I've been staying at this Hotel for the last 15 years, it is getting worse

Staff were very friendly but I felt let down by the place. I booked the basic room this overlooked a carpark and on the extension also was freezing I upgraded to a room in the manor this was better but still cold. The room needs your key card to turn on lights and heating. By the time it had heated we went out and it was cold again on our return. The food was average. Overpriced by the ability of the chef to cook it well. Hash browns you couldn't taste any potato they were so overcooked. It was my anniversary and the scallops were very small and overcooked supposed to be on minted pea puree couldn't taste any mint and tasted watery. I go away this time of year often and always have felt warm and cosy. I didn't get this feeling from the hotel apart from pleasant staff.

Booked this hotel as was near west midland safari park - when we arrived there was a massive firework display/ music that wasn’t mentioned on the website when booking / had to move rooms because of the noise with our 1 year old - went to use the pool the next day, was so cold - the heater had not been switched on so we could only stay in 5 - 10 minutes but was still charged full price..

Booked this for 7 people, for 2 nights. Despite 2 phone calls and an email to advise of travelling as two families, with 1 dog each - one dog to go into each room we booked, it was argued that they were not aware of it. Being charged at £25 per dog per night, for what, when you still end up in the poorest category room in the hotel. Plus £25 per dog per night deposit. Rooms and corridors smelled of damp, but room change was denied because of the dogs. We were 3 and 4 people booked per room, but towels and coffees, teas etc only catered for two. On the first night there was no space to sit and relax as a group with children, due to a funeral wake that took place, it was noisy and full of drunk people - the person who was meant to be remembered would have been ashamed. The hotel is advertised "with pool" and picked for that reason but on the leaflet that was handed out at arrival it stated that pool and jacuzzi are available for a fee of £5 per person and £2 per child. Breakfast was mediocre at best and not worth the price charged for it. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. But overall we feel we have been ripped off. When we addressed the issued to the duty manager, they made it clear that they are not bothered, and "not aware".

Not bad overall. The old manor looks quite imposing but the rooms were nothing to write home about. Pretty standard and quite comfy. I only had a standard room which was OK. The shower curtain in the bathroom smelt and was an unpleasant shower. Sure the premium rooms would have been better but shouldn't account for poor cleanliness

We didn’t like the cancellation RESPONSE (nil) for one of our party - who at 85 had no choice due to ill health - even though we wrote well in time for the hotel to re let. 29th September 2024. We have discovered the hotel charged a guest for two meals - despite the meals being paid for in advance. I want this disposable retrospective charge TO MY GUEST REFUNDING or we will take the matter further.

The room was spacious and I liked the all in one wet room. The building is old so if anyone is outside or loud in the bar you hear it. The one thing to note is the pool is not free - it's 5GBP for each use, which is not quite what was advertised. There's also no lift so you have to carry all luggage upstairs.

We enjoyed our stay overall, the bed was comfortable and we were upgraded to a family room. We were very disappointed with the breakfast, cheap produce, toaster didn't work. Teapots, cups and glasses where very small. We wouldn't stay again.

My stay at Stourport Manor, although a short one, was very comfortable. Hotel facilities were exceptional. Unfortunately, due oversnoozing I didn’t get to sample their cuisine, except their full English in the mornings. It did feel they were maybe short of staff. The staff that I did interact with were very polite and helpful. Overall, no complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.
