We actually ended up in "Brook House" rather than "Parkers" due to a leak, but wow was it a great alternative. Many thanks to Kim for sorting things out for us, we loved the house, location, walks etc, and the whole family (and dog) had a fabulous time.

We had a lovely week at Parkers despite me developing a permanent stoop (I'm 6'6" and there are quite a few low beams and ceilings, notably the beam between the utility room and the kitchen, which thankfully is padded, since I seemed to continue to walk into it every time). The cottage is very comfortable and has plenty of options for sitting and relaxing. Plenty of footpaths around to walk locally (though it seems to be a Herefordshire habit to build stiles that don't have ways through for your dogs and you finish up having to lift them over) and then even more paths up and around the Malvern Hills. (Steep!) Great Malvern is really lovely and has a lot of interesting shops. The Priory is worth a visit. We also went to Hereford and I revisited the Mappa Mundi in the cathedral - if you can get one of the museum curators to talk to you about it, you get to learn a lot about it.Unfortunately the village pub in Mathon is closed and doesn't look likely to re-open. However we found some good pubs not too far away and had a number of others we would have visited if we had time. We had an excellent lunch at the Oak Inn in Staplow.A few minor niggles (the ovens on the electric side of the Aga weren't working; Kim called the Aga technician, who had apparently replaced the thermostats only a couple of weeks before. However, he failed to turn up because his van broke down, and there was no further word from him before we left). It also seemed as though somebody had half-inched the iron. But otherwise we had a very pleasant and relaxing week.

We are just back from a fabulous stay at this property, Kim and her husband were so welcoming and made effort to pop in that first evening to check all was okay. The house is amazing and thankfully very warm. Don’t be misled when you first get there as there are definitely 4 lovely bedrooms, but two seperate stair cases. Also don’t mistake Parker’s cottage for Parker’s, it’s right behind it and you access it by entering it up the little road right beside the red postbox. We would definitely return

3 generations of my family stayed in this lovely hamlet in the Cotswolds. The house was spacious, clean, warm and well laid out. We enjoyed a bbq and the table and chairs outside in the front garden are a glorious place to sit plus it's a real suntrap. The surroundings are peaceful and quiety and only the sound of the birds singing can be heard. Everything in the house was clean and beautifully presented. The host was friendly and helpful and the whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and thoroughly recommend this property. Thank you for a such a lovely stay.

A beautiful cottage, very spacious for 8 people with a large kitchen which is well equipped. Full of character, spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming, it was the perfect for a big family celbration. The woodburner and Aga were a treat on chilly November evenings and with the underfloor heating downstairs we always felt warm and cosy in the cottage. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard, this is superb holiday accommodation which I would not hesitate to recommend. We certainly hope to return.

Had a brilliant stay here with friends. We wanted somewhere remote where the dogs wouldn’t be disturbed by fireworks and Parkers was perfect. The cottage has lots of character and is well equipped, though a few small improvements could make it perfect: there was no oven glove and a larger cafetière would have been more convenient.

Lovely cottage, lots of room and great to have en-suite to all bedrooms. Outside space is perfect but would be good to have a gate between the lodge garden by the steps to keep dogs in from both sides. The estate is beautiful and recommend walking on the Malvern Hills.
