Perfect two night stay to recharge in lovely surroundings

It was very well equipped spotlessly clean and very comfortable the location is very quiet and peaceful and the grounds are immaculate

Lovely and peaceful retreat with super helpful hosts! - loved it!

Loved the little tuck shop, very cute and useful in a remote location - also loved the quiet location, felt like a very secure and peaceful location

Could have done with a plug near a mirror, or a full length mirror - but think this is just a one off as we were attending a wedding so had to get spruced up 😂 certainly not something that would put me off or affect my rating at all, still 10/10 for sure!

It is a beautiful location with views of the surrounding hills. It’s stunningly furnished and is super cosy, even in November!! The Host is a fantastic communicator and really friendly. Would love to stay again.

Fantastic overnight stay, would recommend

Very quiet location and very high quality throughout - fabulous rolltop copper bath. Hosts were very attentive with communications and directions and left us to it once we’d arrived

Perfectly private perfection

The system for collecting the keys is excellent - if you are usually appalled by the 'checking in' process and just want to immediately begin your break - this is for you! If you want to be (and remain) alone - perfect. There is a lovely surprise awaiting you once inside, courtesy of a young entrepreneur, which might be just the thing after a long drive. The bath is to die for! The approach of the site owners is supportive but not intrusive - lovely. If you want a base from which to explore nearby locations, this is just the place. Highly recommended.

If you do not have a car then accessing the site and travelling around is going to be a very real issue. The area isn't well serviced by taxis (unless you are willing to pay for 'dead miles' - the cost of the driver to travel to collect you). This isn't the fault of the site, but must be borne in mind when considering the location. In hot weather a fan might not be considered amiss too!

facilities and hut itself was incredible, location was fantastic, lovely and clean.

no cancellation policy in place when booking through booking.com or other websites. had to leave 1 night early as was unable to cancel even with 5 months notice.
