About this house rental
Whether rain or shine you will not be disappointed with the location of our beautiful house.
Just a 2 minute walk to the local pub, the Harbour Bar and the Quayside restaurant / takeaway where you can enjoy their award winning Fish and Chips.
At the top of the steps (33 in total) there is a village shop for your last minute essentials and a post office.
Aberdeen is a 25 minute drive to the north and Dundee a 40 minute drive to the south with many small fishing villages in between.
Just meters from the harbor the property provides clean and comfortable accommodation.
As you enter the property the hallway (right) leads to the living room which provides 2 large sofas and an armchair, there is a wall mounted TV with SKY and internet TV.
The hall way (left) takes you to the kitchen / dining room which lends its self to a large dining room table and chairs suitable to sit up to 8 people. Again, there is a wall mounted TV with SKY and internet TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher.
At the other end of the kitchen is the utility area, this lends its self to a washer/dryer, wine cooler, Nespresso coffee maker and microwave with additional cupboard space.
There is a newly fitted downstairs family bathroom with a large bath, WC, sink and Shower which leads off of the utility space.
On the first floor there is a large double aspect master bedroom, this room provides a king size bed, large wardrobe with full length mirror, a chest of 3 draws and 2 bedside cabinets.
The second bedroom, again large in size provides 2 single beds, a chest of 3 draws and a bedside cabinet.
There is a second newly fitted shower room and WC on the second floor.
On the second floor there are a further 2 bedrooms, one to the right provides a king-size bed, wardrobe and bed side cabinets. One to the left, 2 single beds, wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
You will be able to access all parts of the property without restriction,
Outside there is off street parking and a small garden.

Excellent house with great space for our family. We spent three nights here before our daughters wedding and it was perfect. Facilities were excellent and although a little tired in places .....it was fantastic value for the price. In a lovely spot near the harbour where the pub and fish and chips restaurant and takeaway were only a stones throw away. We used them every evening. Just along the coast was a fantastic farm shop and coffee hut overlooking the coast. The whole place made a wonderful start to our wedding week at Drumtochty Castle. Hosts were very attentive when contacted and helped make our stay fab.

The house is perfect for a larger group to stay together. We particularly loved the large kitchen and dinning space and spent most of our evening time around the table playing games, even getting our teenagers to join in! The beds were wonderfully comfortable and there was plenty of towels to go around. Two small suggestions would be, 1- replace the sofas in the livingroom, they are dreadful. So uncomfortable i'm sorry to say. And 2- With this being a winter stay, and a big old house, it would have been lovely if the hosts had put the heating on or set the timer on the system prior to our arrival. It took quite a long time to warm the house up initially. However, that said, we loved the house, the location and our stay, thank you! X

We had a lovely stay at this house which was very clean and presented well with everything that you need for a short holiday. The check in process was well communicated and simple and although we had some issues with the heating this was promptly dealt with by the owners and did not affect our stay. There was plenty to entertain our young grandsons in the surrounding areas including a lovely farm and a beach less than 20 minutes away. The local eateries, which are only a few minutes walk from the house, were just great and very child friendly.All in all we had a great stay at this house in Gourdon and would totally recommend to future guests.
