Great place to stay in a nice sized caravan

Lovely caravan with a lot of nice touches to make it feel homely. The owners were very friendly and helpful when I contacted them. Plenty of kitchen accessories to help with the cooking and there were some simple things such as tea, coffee and salt that makes a short stay easier. Good wifi provided and a nice TV to entertain the kids. The main bedroom has it's own toilet and sink, in addition to the main bathroom. Shower was surprisingly good with decent pressure and temperature. Although there were no on site facilities to charge an EV car, I found a shopping area less than 20 mins walk with a cheap plug in charger that did the trick overnight (only 2 sockets). It was a 15 minute walk to the lighthouse at the north end of Whitley Bay. Bedding, hand towels and tea towels were provided - bring your own bath towels.

It's a typical caravan park with lots of static caravans close together (not on top of each other but it does mean that the views out of the windows are of other caravans). The entrance to the site facilities needs a paid for pass - that includes the on site shop and swimming pool - for a short stay it was not worth the extra cost.

Well kept static caravan ideal for families

Nice and spacious and easy to find and enter. Everything needed for a short stay was there so we didn’t need to bring for example washing up liquid and shower gel. TV and WiFi was available and working fine. Nearby is Whitley Bay beach - a really nice blue flag beach and some great restaurants. Also nearby is the lighthouse - a must visit as you can go inside. Reminded me of my childhood holidays :)

Last Minute Night Away

The caravan was very clean with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with good bedding and comfy pillows! The location to Whitley Bay was great and the site had a shop, a bar and restaurant.

Quiet weekend.

We needed a break away from life's troubles to just sit back and relax along with our dog. And this trip did just that for us. Even for it being a bank holiday weekend. We found the park to be so quiet. Everything we needed was supplied for us. It comes with all the basics you need to just unpack and make a meal and enjoy the peace. And it's close to the little nature trail to walk your dog which is handy. And just to add. The double bed which we stayed in although a bit small was very comfortable. Slept like a baby all weekend.

Having to leave.. no but honestly. It was a nice stay and value for money. So don't have a bad thing to say. If I was being picky. Ad say a bigger TV was needed. But we barely had it on so didn't bother us.
