Great for a short stay

Great location and beds were very comfortable, it was quiet so we slept well. The flat has all the amenities you need for self catering. Heating very efficient so it was lovely and warm and despite a few teething problems it was perfect for us.

Access via the lock box was a bit tricky due to receiving two emails with different codes and no one responding on the emergency contact until the next day made it initially stressful but once we finally got in the flat was lovely. The wifi was completely different to the information sent in the email but we managed to find the code and name of it in a kitchen cupboard, unfortunately it only worked next to the front door and in the back bedroom but not in the kitchen or living room as the signal was too weak so we were unable to watch the smart TV due to no wifi connection. The double bedroom has no furniture at all apart from a double bed which is a bit strange and for a longer stay you would at very least want a bedside table and/or somewhere to put your clothes. Likewise the bathroom has nowhere to put any toiletries.

Absolutely filthy, we spent hours cleaning

Good location

This flat was absolutely filthy, and it ruined what was meant to be a relaxing weekend with friends. All of the floors and surfaces were visibly dirty, stained and dusty. The fridge was full of crumbs and dirt, to the point that we had to dismantle the shelves and clean it out before putting any food in it. There was dirt in the cupboards, which we also had to wipe out before use. The crockery was dirty, so we had to re-wash everything before use. There were stains on the bedding, towels, and on the seating in the living room. There wasn't even any handsoap in the bathroom. My friends and I had to go out and purchase cleaning supplies, and spend several hours cleaning the apartment, before we could do anything. We contacted Ryan to make him aware of the issue, and he was extremely unhelpful, replying with what were clearly AI generated responses, despite his denial of this (one of his messages ended with "Get more with Plus", which is typical for AI apps). Whilst we were gifted some wine to compensate for the issue, no further action was taken - Ryan promised to reimburse us the cleaning fee, and for the cleaning products that we purchased, however this never happened. Instead, Ryan stopped replying to me, and has never resolved this issue. This situation was so disappointing and frustrating, and the hosts should be ashamed of themselves for not properly resolving this. It really is a great shame, because the location is wonderful, and this place has great potential.

Pleasant but...

Lovely and bright. Nice decor and kitchen.

The double bedroom wasn't great as small so bed against wall. We moved it out but then can't open door properly. No bedside table. Nowhere to hang clothes (apart from in the other bedroom). Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. The double bed was very soft.

Great location, well equipped flat.

Fantastic location near the seafront and also close to the main shopping area. Flat is well equipped and spacious with the added benefit of an on-street parking permit for one vehicle.

Confusion over the WiFi because the network pinned up in the kitchen didn`t exist, I had to check with the owner and they had provided the correct one in our info. I suggest taking the old one down off the wall! Flat didn`t appear to have been hoovered beforehand, and needed a deep clean, (there is a vacuum cleaner but it didn`t pick up), but this did not detract from our stay and we would certainly like to come back.

Frustrated and Disappointed.

Beds were comfortable, location was good.

Rubbish was left outside and ripped apart by Seagulls. Despite reporting this nothing was done. WiFi was not good, Blinds were missing in both front rooms which meant we were exposed to.bright sunshine and had to hang up towels as a makeshift curtain, raised screws on steps caused me to injure my toe, loose light fittings in 2nd bedroom and leaking shower door, issues were not addressed despite numerous reports. There were other issues also. This very negatively impacted on our holiday.

Great location and driveway to park on.

Location & size were great. Free parking on the drive.

Firstly couldn’t get in due to front door being jammed, managed to buzz another flat to enter the building. Someone came out & looked at the front door, apparently a nack to open it. This needs looking at as holiday makers won’t know this. Flat very warm, 15 tog double duvet on the double bed, this needs changing in the summer months. Didn’t look like it had been hoovered before we checked in.

Ok but not for us.

We liked the fact that although there were 3 apartments in the property, it was very quiet and peaceful. The little dining room was great for breakfast. The parking permit worked well.

Lots of little things. For example a totally inadequate bag in the bin, no bread bin, no ice trays, nowhere to put toiletries when showering, not enough towels, towels too small, large wardrobe in the twin room but totally unusable, lack of storage space in the double room, lots of cobwebs in the twin room. Needs a deep clean.

Great location. 30 seconds to the beach and easy on road parking with the allocated permit.

Bit tired looking. Broken lino in the kitchen. Spotlight hanging down above the sink. Toilet intermittently working/refilling. Light in the communal hallway wasn’t working so very dark. More concerning was that we found a knife and broken padlock under the Kid’s mattress. Reported to the agent at checkout (which is when we discovered it). Agent seemed interested and made a tokenistic apology without any explanation.

Beautiful apartment. Excellent location. Communication was excellent and everything you needed was there.

Although you have a parking permit, the parking is also for the general public on a pay and display basis, being so close to the seafront it gets very busy and you are not guaranteed a space.

Well situated near the town centre. It was clean and roomy for 4 adults.

The only criticism was the toilet was sometimes unable to fill with water and we had to keep taking the lid off the “help” it.

We would be happy to return to this homely flat.

The flat was spacious, very clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay. It was central and in easy reach of shops and amenities. It was quiet, the beds were very comfortable and it was an ideal place to enjoy our stay with everything needed in the kitchen. Parking was always available on street in front of the house with a parking permit.

Fabulous location, spacious and well set out

Location was great. Everything was on your doorstep and the beach was the end of the street. Easy to park and apartment was spacious and warm. Good communication.

We were missing a tea towel and I felt that there were some areas that could have been cleaner. However, I am a bit of a clean freak.

Decent accommodation for a short stay

Good location, close to the seafront. Quite a quiet area, with parking on street included in the price with a permit.

Back of the property wasn't very nice and was a bit noisy at night. Bedrooms were small - double bed pushed against a wall in one room and two singles in the other room

Well located and nicely decorated apartment!

Really well located for walking to the seafront and nicely decorated. Easy to get in and although we didn’t require any help from the hosts, it was clear that if needed, we could get in touch! It was great to have a parking permit as well!

If being picky - Heating needed to be switched on manually, so we left it off when we went out and then had to put it on to warm up when we got back! There was tea/ coffee, but it would have been lovely if there had been a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived as we had to head straight out to get some in the rain! This is being picky though - it was lovely!

This self catering apartment was in perfect order. Communication was excellent for access arrangements. Comfortable bedrooms, very comfy beds. Excellent shower, easy to control. TV was brilliant. Good choice of eating places at the end of the street.

I had to contact the owner for wifi information, which ought to have been available in the apartment. Would be good to have some local information in the apartment too.

We had a lovely stay. The accomodation was clean, new and very clean and comfortable. The owners were very accomodating and we will be back.
