Disappointing with a Smoke smell
Location was good and the apartment was cozy and warm with comfortable beds
The smell of smoke in the apartment and the smell of smoke on towels and bedding We arrived to find the door locked from the inside and had to be let in by a resident . When we called the owner Ryan and left a message asking for reassurance that our key would work from the outside if we left . We never received a call back and did not risk leaving the flat together for fear of not getting back in

Great place and excellent location
We have used this apartment with friends booked in their name on 2 other occasions. On these occasions' we were in the upstairs apartment. The downstairs apartment did not disappoint. With this apartment you can use the parking space in front of the house. The location is great especially fp-or us as our daughter lives 5 minutes walk away. I do highly recommend this apartment

Communication excellent with follow up after arrival, great location, well equipped.
Might be worth putting a sign on drive about about blocking the drive, as when we went out someone had blocked partial access to the drive ( having a truck made it almost impossible to park) this is not a reflection on the property but others.

Disgraceful

The boiler was not working on arrival with an error message flashing meaning there was no hot water available. Fortunately my husband is a plumber so was able to sort it out but this had clearly not been checked. We then discovered dirty towels in the bathroom, an empty toilet roll tube left on the holder with no other toilet roll available in the property and a blocked bath spewing filthy gunk when the shower was run. There was also no LGSR displayed in the property as regulation requires, and the CO detector was shoved on top of the boiler in a cupboard. I contacted the management company Vacant Nests, immediately who said they would get someone out that evening to rectify the problems. I then received another message to say nobody could attend until the next day as there was no crew available. Then the final blow, the discovery of filthy sheets on the bed. There was absolutely no way we could stay in the property due to the disgusting, unhygienic condition so we left less than 4 hours after arrival having made alternative, sanitary arrangements. I sent photos of the issues and advised Vacant Nest that we were leaving. They confirmed they understood our decision. I requested a refund which Vacant Nests have refused because, and I quote: 'just to clarify, the issues raised were due to an oversight by our cleaning team' and 'we arranged for our cleaners to attend and resolve the matter, as we are still within the timeframe to get this sorted for you. Unfortunately, a refund is not possible at this time.' I advised Vacant Nests of the issues at appx. 5.20pm on 23/09 - the cleaning team were not going to arrive until at least 10am on 24/09 It's apparently ok to leave paying guests to sleep and bathe in someone else's filth for over 15 hours with no financial recompense offered or available.

I reported the washer drier was unserviceable within days of our arrival, it transpired that the device was a drier. Immaterial as the door wouldn't close. The agent arranged for a maintenance person to visit, he identified the door switch was broken, and that was the last time we had any attention. The agent did nothing to alleviate the issue and after 3 weeks we left with the drier still out of order. The back yard was criticised in April as having rubbish left. The agent assured me before our visit it had been cleared, it was not. I reported it to the agent and they claimed it would cleared. After 3 weeks it was still present. Photos attached. As we were resident for 3 weeks the agent should have paid more care and attention, they found it surprising that I had the audacity to complain about their tardiness. I gave the agent my mobile number on 2 occasions they did not avail themselves of the opportunity to speak to me.

Great location, accommodation as expected and Ryan was always available if we had a query
The location was excellent and it was helpful to have a parking space otherwise it was on road parking that had to be paid for.
The double bed was a tight squeeze in the room which meant it only had access from one side

The location is perfect. A lovely roomy property.
A top of the range coffee maker, w/mc, dryer, dish washer & yet no freezer, not even an ice box in fridge.
