Already thinking about when to go back, it was a lovely long weekend away with family.

Good communication from the hosts. Friendly and helpful hosts. Email to tell us when our apartment was ready for checking in. Easy to check in. Parking was a big plus. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable with lots of small thoughtful touches to make us feel welcomed and to make our stay run smoother, such as milk and biscuits so we could have a brew and snack before sorting out the rest of our shopping and unpacking after a long drive for the weekend and the lamp in the bedroom left on as it was dark when we arrived.

Only tiny thing we noticed was it would have been nice to have a bath towel (although the towels provided were soft and adequate).... otherwise It felt a perfect base and home from home.

Comfortable, convenient apartment in a delightful area

Location on the sea front, dedicated parking space, comfortable, well-equipped, thoughtful welcome pack. Lots of nearby dog walking and historic sites; nearly every town in Northumberland seems to have a beautiful castle!

It has a washing machine, which is great, but no tumble dryer. The dining table is only big enough for two people; fine for us, but just a small warning for a larger party that someone will be eating off a tray. Unless you go out to one of the excellent nearby restaurants :-)

A stress-free weekend in a great property - perfect for the Great North Run!

The apartment is in a lovely location near the sea front, and about a ten minute walk to the nearest Metro station. There is also a Beefeater across the road for somewhere to eat out. The parking space is behind the property, with some steps up to the apartment on the first floor. The apartment itself is perfect - it was very clean, the decor is modern, it has two good size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite. The lounge area and kitchen are also a good size, with everything that you need for a stay away from home. The communication from the owners leading up to our stay was great too, with information provided about the property and the local area. All in all we had a great stay at this property, and it was perfect for our trip to the North East for the Great North Run - thank you!

Fabulous apartment, and a great host

Absolutely nothing to dislike here, beautiful apartment, immaculately clean, well equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable beds and nice bedding, kitchen and bathrooms very clean and modern, host was super easy to deal with, clear instructions and very helpful with our few questions before we arrived. Location was perfect, just over the road from the Spanish city dome and promenade, and a few mins round the corner from Park View, and a little sea view! Great parking bay at the rear with access also to the apartment. Definitely recommended we will be returning for sure

Spacious apartment in a wonderful location (but in need of a few improvements)

Nice and spacious apartment with (a bit of) sea view in wonderful surroundings, just a stone's throw from the fabulous beach of Whitley Bay. Everything we needed was near - pubs, Metro to Tynemouth and Newcastle, shops etc. The living room was beautiful and modern.

The kitchen was okay equipped (there could be more plates), but the cupboards, the dishes and the cutlery weren't very clean. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean, but the beds (all three of them) were too small, too short and very wobbly and noisy - not very comfortable. But the most flaws were to be found in the two bathrooms. Not very modern, not very clean (especially the toilet brush was very dirty), the shower was okay, but small, the plug of the bath tub was not working. With a few tweaks it sould be a great apartment.

appt was spacious, sea front views, very clean and comfortable. great location just off the promenade, which very clean and well kept. Terrific walks, dog friendly loved it. Good selection of cafe, bars restaurants loved it.

The flat worked very well for us and we would definitely stay there again.

The location was great with close up views from the livingroom of the sea and short distance to shops. It was very clean and met all the promises of the pictures. It was quiet with the bedrooms at the back so no problem with street noise. The manager responded quickly to all queries. There was plenty of space for the four of us. Definitely an advantage to having two full bathrooms.

It would be nice to have a dining table that seats four but we knew from the pictures that it wasn't available and that the flat didn't have room for it.
