Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully presented, and extremely comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The location was ideal, and the host was outstanding—warm, attentive, and highly responsive. Truly exceeded expectations; I would absolutely return and highly recommend this place without hesitation.

Great - would definitely recommend.

Location was great, and the accommodation was very good too. Well equipped brightly lit Kitchen. Lovely and clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas and cosy. Near to everything we needed. Slight glitch with the heating on the second day - but one phone call - and it was sorted out immediately.

Perhaps the lighting in the front room could have been brighter. Couldn’t park in our allotted parking space as the person in the house next door ( not owned by the owner) had partly parked across our space. Not an issue, we parked in the front of the property.

Good location close to seafront

It is in a good location, close to the seafront whilst also in a relatively quiet spot. It was straightforward to access Newcastle with a car from here. We slept well. We used the kitchen facilities for breakfast and an evening meal. There is a small co-op and Sainsbury’s within a five minute walk There was a key safe to access for late arrival. There is a good lounge area.

A great location, a comfortable stay and good value for the price.

It was in a great location and quite spacious. Clean and the beds were comfortable. Angela was super and really appreciated her letting us in early. Also, over the water pressure being sorted super quickly.

The floor was rather noisy in the flat and take care of down the communal stairs as each step isn’t very deep.

A great apartment in a great location.

In a great location close to the beach and a short walk into the main town. The property had everything you could need and the lounge area was great for relaxing after a long day. Although there were stairs to reach the apartment once you were inside everything was on one level.

The only negative is that one of the bedrooms houses the boiler. I think another time of year it is unlikely to be an issue but because it was so cold and windy, even though we turned the thermostat right down, the boiler kept kicking in and firing up over night. Blame Storm Claudia!

Whitley Bay Autumn stay

Location close to Whitley Bay beaches and convenient for some good restaurants and the town. This second floor apartment was comfortable, allowing us to relax after long walks along the coastal paths. Having a dedicated parking place was a real plus.

Provision of some information about the best local attractions, restaurants or hidden gems would be useful. Local knowledge can trump any internet search in our experience.

Lovely apartment, great location, very clean and has everything!

Very well-presented apartment, clean and very well-equipped. The bathrooms are spacious, and toiletries were provided. The bedding and towels smelled lovely. The beds are comfy. We had to rearrange the layout of furniture in order to open out the sofa bed, which was fine.

Our only issue is the creaky floors; they are so noisy, especially in the hall and bedrooms. At night, when the apartment is quiet, the creaking noise wakes you up. I wouldn't stay again because of this problem.

Perfect property and location for a short break by the seaside

Location of the property is very central, a couple of minutes walk to the promenade/ beach, restaurants. Property was very spacious and had everything needed for a short break. The description was very accurate and the hosts provided ample information ahead of arrival.

Fabulous 2nd floor apartment

This spacious apartment is in a fabulous location and is convenient for everything in Whitley Bay. The apartment was really clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Having private parking was a real bonus.

Whilst I don't want to detract from the high standard of the apartment, it is not made clear in the Booking.com description that it's on the 2nd floor. In the Accessibility section of Facilities, it is mentioned that "upper floors are accessible by stairs only", which I feel is rather vague.

The flat is in a great location opposite a park and just across the road from the seafront. It's well appointed and has plenty of hooks and hangers and space. Was brilliant to be able to provide local friends with free parking when they came to visit.

A great location and ideal place for a few days for two couples

well located for running routes along the promenade, local metro, shops, excellent Turkish restaurant and craft beer but spacious enough for a cosy chilling evening for 4 , bonus of a coffee / bacon butty cabin just over the road in the park for breakfast

Nothing but be aware it is a 2nd Floor apartment and access is only by stairs. I did send the owner a list of minor things we thought could be improved but it really was just nit-picking

Perfect location excellent value for money!

The location was perfect with views of the sea. Everything was just great and the apartment was very warm as unfortunately our weather was not the best. However, we were in the North East. It is certainly somewhere we would stay again.

Really there wasn't anything. However if I had to say anything it did have a lot of stairs but then you know that when you have booked a 3rd floor apartment. All good exercise.
