Property was very poor 1 bath towel would not use went out and bought 2 new one and a bottom sheet to cover mix and match old bedding furniture dirty had to cover it all with some car blankets. oven dirty frying pan with previous peoples fat still in, curtains sun bleached and dirty need replacing toaster never been emptied for how long I don’t know enough crumbs go a large slice of bread.Bowl in sink with something stuck underneath not sure what it was,Rug in lounge area disgusting.All work tops need old dirty silicone removing and resealing, if it hadn’t been for meeting other family members up there we would have come home.Mor photos available

A very basic neglected caravan

Very basic . What a shame with a little effort & a lot of tlc this could be a lovely caravan looks like it’s been neglected over time. The tv aerial had been broken off outside & perched in the guttering so when the wind blew it fell off .. no tv . Ironing board yet no iron. Old bleached stained bedding , mattress needs replacing . A sad neglected little van .

The caravan is very close to the facilities & has decking .

The enviremont is very pritty.

The beds were oké.

The heat was not working. The sofa en de sofa’s at the kitchentable are not comfortable, you feel the wood. The shower was so hot, we could not take a shower.

Would not stay again

Nicely decorated and has all the basics plus a few extras such as children's books and dvds

The heating wasn't adequate enough. It was far too cold. None of the radiators in the bedrooms worked. The gas fire wasn't enough to heat the caravan. Staying in November so wasn't anywhere near warm enough, the children has to sleep with their coats on. The locks are also so rusty that my 5 year old got locked in the bathroom and had to get him out through the bathroom window.

Caravan great, park just not!

Cheap and comfortable, a bit tattie round the edges but Caravan was well equipped and hosts were accommodating as we had 2 big dogs x

Hated the park, was cramped and lack luster no place to walk the dog without leaving the park, couldn't park next to the caravan and beach was far away and inconvenient. The caravan heating didn't work well and was extremely cold.

We loved how close to the complex the caravan was situated.

The cleanliness of the caravan. The caravan was on a whole not very clean and the fact that pets were allowed was evident. The van smelt of dogs and their were dog hairs throughout even down to the plates and cups. There were curtains hanging down off their hooks, door handles on bathroom and toilet door were loose and no toilet seat in bathroom.

Radiator in the room opposite entrance didn't seem to work and you couldn't get WiFi in the van not sure if it has anything to do with not having a booster like other vans had. Tried with a number of devices no luck. Double bed matress was not comfy.

The location was prime but the caravan needs to be cleaned throughly after each visit.

The location was good and easy access to the beeches.

The caravan was not cleaned properly. There were grass in the living room and bathrooms. The kitchen hobs were dirty. There were old milk and food left in the fridge and we left them as they were. There was a dirty sock in between the wall and one of the bed. This made us wonder whether the bed sheets were changed since the last usage. There was an empty can under one of the bed, suggests the room wasn’t vacuumed at all.

the location of the property, and was big enough for 5 of us.

The property had not been cleaned, the cooker, fridge and shower were still dirty from previous guests ( this is basic cleaning) there was no toilet lid and there was old food and hair products left from previous guests.

worst 3 night break ever.

nothing really.

very disappointed to find hardly any heating appliances, there is a small gas fire in the lounge which does help slightly, there is 2 heaters in the bedroom that can stay on for a maximum of 4 hours and provide hardly any heat which meant we couldn’t stay in the bedroom as it was too cold and had to spend all 3 nights in the lounge. there is a small portable fan heater but doesn’t give off massive amounts of heat. No heating in the bathroom so stone cold in their all the time. (invest in fan electric heating specially if you are letting the caravan in winter) dehumidifier products are everywhere as the condensation drips from the windows. there is a draft in the lounge and around the window. mattress of the main bed very springy (which previous people have mentioned before ,it needs changing!) I seriously looked at leaving that night and find alternative accommodation. the caravan needs a little bit of money spending on it ,or best still don’t let it out in winter it wasn’t worth £180!!

Location

No nearby parking, had to walk through very muddy area to take belongings into the caravan on arrival. No bath towels, oven gloves or colander. Cracked, chipped plates. Poor heating facilities, only had a gas fire in the lounge, small heaters in bedrooms which turned off after 4 hours were too small to offer any heat. Hardly any liquid hand wash in toilets, kitchen or bathroom. Dirty crockery and cutlery which all had to be washed prior to using. Uncomfortable mattresses in 2 bedrooms, obviously the cheapest on the market. You could feel every spring. Dirty oven, food all over shelves Broken fridge shelf held together with gaffa tape. The cheapest of the cheap of everything was used in this caravan. The grubbiest place we've ever stayed in with booking.com.

Absolutely brilliant

Spotlessly clean with a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we stepped in. Fantastic little extra touches made it stand out from other places we have stayed, such as games, dvds and books. An added bonus was the TV channels worked with no glitching which kept the kids happy. Numerous kitchen appliances and equipment which was great. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The caravan was spacious and close to the holiday parks attractions. Had a beautiful view and the lighthouse looked stunning at night. Owner was very helpful when we called for some advice.

Peaceful ,good size caravan nice position in the camp site ,plenty of parking open aspect out of main window . Could sleep 6 plus so good value .

The caravan we stayed in was excellent, a lot of thought had gone in to what was in there,e.g games,x box,books, kitchen appliances were exceptional. We would definitely stay in this particular caravan again ,really enjoyed the stay visiting my brother's and their families

There didn't seem to be any security on site ,not what we saw anyway especially in the evening. It's the first time that I've stayed anywhere where you could walk in to the facilities on site whether you were staying at the park or not without some form of passcard

Perfect location with excellent facilities on site. The caravan itself had everything we needed. We had a problem with boiler but hosts contacted and we had someone looking at it within half an hour of reporting the problem!

We liked the caravan and its position and we hope we can come back.

Boquhanran is comfortable and well equipped, there are books, games and DVD's for a variety of age groups and the veranda and outdoor seating was especially good although we visited during weather we didn't want to sit out in. The location in one of the quietest areas of the site was superb. The caravan was very clean. Also Boquhanran stepped in to accommodate us at shorter notice than normal when our original accommodation let us down so thank you very much for that.

We were a bit chilly at times and one more little heater would have made a big difference but I have to say our stay coincided with blizzards and ordinarily this would not have been an issue. The panel heaters in the bedroom gave off good heat, the gas fire was lovely and cosy in the living area.

Perfect for families, great location, friendly owner.

Perfect location. Nice roomy caravan for a family. Two toilets was a bonus. Great to have games for the kids to play with. Beds more comfortable than usual caravan beds, with plenty of pillows and clean fresh bedding. We were thankful the owner had left two warm blankets. The owner was easily contactable and responded quickly to all my questions - very friendly and helpful. The owner was also very flexible with checkout times and that made a huge difference, taking the pressure off to rush out in the morning.

We struggled to heat the caravan, even with all the heaters on. I did expect it to be cold in a caravan in November, but it was much colder than anticipated. If we went again, we'd bring a heater and plenty of blankets. Also, the fridge wasn't turned on when we arrived but we didn't realise this until the second morning. And despite following the instructions in the file, we couldn't get the oven or the grill to light. There was no parking at the caravan - only around 6 spaces for 20+ caravans. We had to unload then park on the other side of the site.

Good value for money

The caravan was comfortable, in a great location. Shower and heating worked really well. Overall it was good value for money and I would stay there again.

Some parts of caravan are a little run down or in need of a bit of attention. Such as round the shower door where its a bit mouldy.
