Price was reasonable and view was excellent. Situation was convenient for our purpose.

Key box needs replacement, very difficult to see central images due to damage, and no instructions provided as to programming sequence, we really struggled to get the key out. Not possible to use fire as remote was damaged. Several areas of damage within caravan need attention. Key code not provided day before as promised, necessitating phone call before we left.

Very close to the park for the kids. Close to the pool and all the amenities. Fantastic views.

No lock code was sent prior to arrival one contact number was not available, the other went to voicemail (numerous times) Also sent message via booking.com to say no code. Had to wait until after 5pm to get a solution, which came from the reception staff on the park who were very helpful. They got a key for us to get in. The owners did not respond until after a solution had been found by the park. Not sure if the lack of code was booking.com's fault or the owners but communication could be better when there is a problem to solve

It is located with lovely views across the bay to the light house. It is within walking distance to Whitley Bay town centre. The host was easy to contact and seemed nice enough.

Despite us updating our ETA to 16:00-17:00 (from 15:00-16:00) and arriving around 16:45, the property wasn't ready for us and was still being cleaned. I am not sure if it was the owner we met, but they were nice enough and we were already late to meet some friends in town, so we simply had a quick tour, put some items in the fridge freezer, grabbed the keys, and shot off. When we returned later around 20:00, the property was mostly clean, but you could see it had been rushed and ultimately not up to a good standard of cleanliness. The bin was overflowing, plasters on the floor, dirty dish rags left, wet towel.

Perfect locations, beautiful caravan wuth sea views. Right next to all the kids entertainment, pool, arcade outdoor park. Looking forward to hopefully staying again soon. Amazing communication from owners , very helpful.

Carpet and sofa could benefit from updating. Veranda and steps up very wobbly

Sea view, plenty of room.bathroom with shower + an extra toilet room.Close to amenities,next door to play park.Built in microwave.Plenty of storage in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen.4 slot toaster and kettle.Patio doors at front for easy access to the veranda.

Oven took ages to heat and cook food,you couldn’t read the numbers around the knobs,so had to figure out which knob went with which knob. Veranda had part of handrail missing as you enter property. Slats we’re missing in one of the single beds. Quite noisy late at night, you could hear the entertainment from the club house when you went to bed, late on after 11 o’clock.

The location for the view was perfect as we could see the sea and watch the sun rise but unfortunately it was a metre away from a park where the children played till late.

It could have been alot cleaner ie sofas,cushions and carpets needed a deep clean and the main bedroom had an awful smell also needed lighting and door handles fixed. The owner did pop in to change the batteries in a remote control which we didn't need and could have waited till we left 🤔and said she was having some work done on the caravan which I think should have been stated in the advert and maybe a little cheaper.

Key release is inside a ln electric padlock. Had to take your chance and get the code in quick as the battery was dying. 7 digit code so not as easy as you’d think. Took 10 mins to release it. Didn’t get the code until a message came through at 3.05pm. Got in and it was freezing so we put the heating on only to find the gas bottles were empty. I will save you the lengthy post but it took 5 hours as the warden was dealing with another boiler situation on site. Once we got them it still didn’t work as there was air in the pipes. Thought the electric fire could help us a bit but it didn’t work. Owner said yeah he’s been empty for a month- unsure why this is my issue. No cloth to clean dishes, had to go and buy one. No bin bags, had to just walk rubbish straight to the industrial bins. Rusty broken sweeping brush on the decking, randomly a bottle of washing up liquid on the decking. Bits of food left, just throw it out. red nail varnish on sockets and light switches. Wallpaper ripped off the walls. Parked where we should in the bays only to be knocked up early on Sunday morning as a lorry was delivering some play park equipment. Had to get up and dressed and move the car. Contacted booking.com for a partial refund but so far nothing has happened. Do yourself a favour and do NOT stay here. You will regret it.

Great location !!

First impressions were not good, external of the caravan was green with algae, Handles missing from several Windows so draught coming through, leaking shower head (just needed a rubber washer) fire would switch on but no heat generated from fire. Seating area uncomfortable with sections sinking due to warped wood, heating not working in one of the bedrooms.

The location was lovely had a great view from the caravan. The key was accessible. There was plenty of space

Would’ve been more ideal if the caravan wasn’t next to the park or the entertainment club. Felt like there was little privacy due to people on the park and the noise from the club went on past 11.

The only good thing was the interior was well presented.

The cleanliness was poor, it was damp and had a smokey smell, no hot water or heating and no basic essentials.

Very close to the club house so can hear the singing on karaoke night. If your an early to bed person you can feel the bass. It would be much easier if the parking was not regularly blocked by the decking set up by the site.

The outdoor furniture and steps leading up to the caravan are a little bit dangerous. Especially if you have young children or elderly people staying. There was an alarm that kept beeping and couldn’t figure out how to turn it off? Seemed to be movement activated so it was ok when sleeping.

The caravan is beautiful, really clean & has everything you need. Large kitchen area. Spacious bathroom with large shower. Has a hairdryer & iron / ironing board. Location is excellent with uninterrupted sea views & very private.

The outside furniture really let this property down; the wooden table & chairs were broken & badly in need of repair / replacing. There were 3 green plastic chairs which were very old & dirty.

The was poorly constructed, the decking furniture was dated and the wood was rotten on the table, a chair had a big screw half in to try and secure it, very unsafe.

Minimal information regarding finding the location of the caravan, alarm, getting the key, resort facilities. Some maintenance required to toilet door handles, kitchen cupboards, outside furniture. Bedrooms were tiny!

the views were amazing

the decking handrail had been removed making it extremely dangerous, the decking steps were not stable and very unsteady. the main decking outside the patio door was not stable (bouncy and loose) the outside furniture was damaged and unable to be used so not fit for purpose at all. The footpath and surrounding grounds were dirty and overgrown, the listing does not state that it is far from the main path/road therefore not suitable for disabled access the property had not been cleaned sufficiently (two disgusting used dish sponges left in sink)

Despite detailing it was fully kitted out, there was no towels provided. this needs to be detailed.

Good views and next to the park. The layout out of the caravan was great.

It smelt bad, cutlery was just chucked in a drawer and still dirty, the decking was loose, the sofa and carpets were filthy, the bedrooms stunk of stale smoke (none of us smoke), the shower kept going hot and cold, none of the doors in the toilets would close and the dining room chair was broken.

nothing wrong with the property, but unfortunately for us, we have a dog who has anxiety problems around fireworks and loud bangs, we wanted a quiet place but unfortunately the road to the beach is a drag race road for everyone with two fat exhausts or a super car. constantly from 10am til 1/2am. pooch petrified and ended up medicated. this is our issue and therefore has nothing to do with the property/owner, chose this van for the decking and closed gate but was just wrong location on the site. no problems else where. not even dog is the same, this didn't spoil out break but was very unfortunate as our dog didn't leave the van and neither could we.
