Whitley bay caravan retreat

Great caravan in a great location. Van was clean and tidy when we arrived, with linen provided and beds made up. There were bath towels for each each of us, hand towels in both toilets, and hand soap provided. In the kitchen, there was washing up liquid, dish-cloths, tea towels provided, and plenty of cutlery and cooking utensils. The living area was comfortable and spacious, with a range of books and DVDs provided. We did discover one very minor maintenance issue and alerted the owner. The issue was fixed within hours. The van is in a great location on the park, just moments from the shop and entertainment complex. And although close, there were no issues with noise. The owner is easy to get in touch with and answers any messages quickly. All in all this is a great van, well worth what we paid for it, and we will definitely try to book it again if we are staying in the area.

Easy way for me to visit my relatives,

The location was perfect, not far from the beach at all could get there walking in 10 minutes. Close to the facilities of the park, which was handy for the entertainment, swimming, restaurant and play park. Bedding and towels were provided as well as utensils and cooking equipment. Host answered any questions that I had quickly and promptly. Great that it was dog friendly too, as not many private rents are, we have a husky and it was just the right size for us to have him and 5 of us in the caravan.

The window in the first bedroom is broken so you can't close it properly, curtains kept falling off the runners maybe a blind would be better? Also the mattress toppers kept falling off the beds whilst sleeping on which was really frustrating as you had to keep getting up to put them back on. Parking was difficult as it was the busy period, and really difficult to get into due to the size of the space to move. With it being close to the entertainment facilities a lot of the other people staying on the park were noisy and loud when leaving the entertainment in the evening.
