Balco West Bridgford, The Point - 3 bed

3 decent size bedrooms, good kitchen

We stayed during the heatwave so it was way too hot! Could do with better ventilation. The shower pressure was low and temperature control a bit of a lottery but that happens a lot with electric showers

Has everything we needed. Was comfortable. The host responded very quickly. Easy parking.

It was a bit noisy at night with road noise.

Location and ability to park. Very clean with all towels and bedding provided. Very quiet despite location at a very busy junction. Although not required on this occasion the property is very close to Trent Bridge cricket ground, Nottingham Forest and Notts County football grounds.

The windows in the main bedroom and the bathroom wouldn't fully close, leaving a gap. Not necessarily a problem at the time of staying but could possibly present a draught and heating issue in the winter months. Also, great difficulty encountered getting any hot water. Eventually discovered the hot water control on the boiler but even turned up as far as possible it would only produce warm water. A long hot bath was out of the question.
