Spotless apartment, comfortable and quiet despite its central location

The appartment was very clean, and everything was easily to hand. I didn't meet any staff, but interactions over the phone were excellent. The only slight complaint about the property was the noise from the bars nearby. This is in no way the fault of the property owners, but I was kept awake until 3am each night of my stay due to a lot of noise from the street outside.

I love this apartment! It was so clean and conveniently located right downtown. Walking distance from everything including mototpoint arena. Very comfortable and private. I love the added security to enter in the building and tour apartment. The walls are very sound proof and i didn't hear any of my neighbors. I regret not spending a longer stay in nottingham. The price point was amazing! 1/3 rd of the price of the hikton i stayed at before here, and waaaaay more space. I loved having 2 seperate bedrooms and bathrooms after traveling with my sister for 2 weeks.

We were very surprised to learn that the single use shampoo, conditioner, etc that were there upon arrival was the end of it. We stayed 4 nights. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you stay 1 night or 10. No more shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, coffee, etc. They told us it was a welcome gift and to go shopping if we needed more. Otherwise, fine stay.

Even though I had an issue with my toilet, they immediately answer to my message. Excellent communication. I got my deposit back without problems a couple of days after my checkout.

Very convenient for city centre shopping. Unit was minimalist but with good kitchen / appliances. Ensuite was excellent. Three issues: no lift and deep steps from car park entrance; no aircon so very hot even with windows wide open; very loud nouse from the street (buses, pub with late music, and lots of shouting).

If you want to party to 2am this venue would work for you. Otherwise I would not stay here, the adjoining bedroom wall is connected to bar/club with loud base music playing until 2am. Not recommended for family or romantic get away, it is central to the shops and restaurants. The property is clean and has all the essential you would need for a short break.

This apartment is a hidden gem. Everything you could want even the welcome package of milk cereal and water with Andy dishwasher tablets washing up liquid full kitchen available ironing board iron also available hairdryer cooler fan heaters available key fob and keys easy to collect access to the rooms, okay. Any issue could be if you don’t like stairs there are quite a few if you’re not on the ground floor or request Taylor for no issues great price would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and spacious studio flat in a central location. Clear instructions and easy to pick up the key. Lovely touches like fresh milk and still and sparkling water in the fridge, plus boxes of cereal. The only thing to note is that there's quite a lively night scene nearby so it's a bit noisy at night. But that's just central Nottingham. The flat itself is excellent and I would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself is great. However, the room is incredibly hot so please not that, and there is no AC, so you have to keep the fan on. It’s quite hard to sleep at night due to the noise from outside, and you can hear people partying and singing till 1am from outside.

I recently stayed at this fantastic apartment right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore everything. The place was beautifully clean, and the staff's communication was exceptional. They even refunded the late check-out fee due to a minor issue with the ironing board, which I really appreciated. Just a heads-up for those with mobility concerns: there's no lift, but it wasn't a problem for me. Highly recommend!

Great location with on-site parking, but the location did mean that it was noisy at night and shutting the windows made the apartment really warm. Could have done with better drainage in the shower, too.

The apartment was in good condition and sparklingly clean. It's compact but perfectly comfortable for a few nights stay, and well located for local amenities. It didn't bother us, but we had a rear facing apartment and there was what sounded like a huge extractor fan for the block opposite that was running continuously. Might be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Also, a bin for recycling would be good, though we did belatedly spot one just down the road. Communication from the company was excellent and checking in (always a worry when it's done by machine!) worked perfectly.

This is a great way to stay in central Nottingham. It’s a full apartment with kitchen that is very roomy and convenient for a few days stay. You even get milk and breakfast cereals! The only caveat is that there is no elevator and the stairs are steep so avoid if you have mobility issues. Also the street outside can be noisy but this died down at 11-12pm and did not interfere with my sleep.

Brilliant property. Brilliant location and great amenities. Only issue was that it was the third floor which would be a problem for those unable to tolerate a lot of stairs. It is right in town and close to many shops , corner shops , restaurants, takeaways and bus/tram station. Within walking distance to the train station.

A very roomy and comfortable flat in the city centre, with full kitchen and fridge and even a small breakfast selection. Highly recommended, I stay there whenever I can. The house does not have an elevator so be aware if you struggle with stairs. It can be noisy on the street until late but this has not bothered me.

The virtual check-in/checkout process was straight forward and very secure, and in an ideal location. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and well equipped, including the nice touches with water, cereals & milk provided. I would highly recommend Whitefriars House to anyone looking for an alternative to hotel accommodation, and look forward to another stay in the not too distant future. Would it be possible to provide a recepticle for recycling as it seems a shame to dispose of everything in the rubbish bin? Many thanks! Lawrence & Marilyn

Our stay was amazing, the rooms were pristine and well appointed. Fresh milk in the fridge and cereal for the next morning really made my day! All needs catered for. I needed directions and parking last minute, the customer services were excellent. Could be my own preference but my only comment would be that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. We've already checked if Whitefriars is available later in the year.

Apartments are fantastic. Well equipper, comfortable. Loads of space. Perfect central location with secure parking. Welcome items were a nice touch. Communications were fab, we had to contact a few times and all resolved asap. Bedding needed to be changed and offered to drive straight there at bedtime to fix. Only downside was the noise on the weekend was insane. One of the bars seems to share an internal door with the first floor of the apartments, several loud bars open until 2am plus all the road noise (bus and taxi rank outside) even with earplugs provided and 2 white noise machines i still couldnt sleep though it. If id known I wouldn't have booked but would definitely stay on a weeknight the bars arent open as the other street noise is to be exoected for a city centre location.

This was the nicest place i have ever stayed! For the value of money it is totally worth a stay here! Lovely clean, secure apartment. Lovely separate bedroom, kitchen utensils, welcome packages, dishwasher with dishwasher tablets provided. Not a bad word to say about the place at all! 10 out of 10 and ive never said that before! I didnt want to check out!

No deposit invoice was received Had to call and pay before entry details were sent to us. Promised 1st Floor flat but allocated 2nd floor, 40 stairs to climb with mobility problems was very difficult. TV broken on Saturday night, reported on Sunday, inspected but not repaired or replaced only apologies. Not good enough. Had to play find a car parking space as the ones allocated were always in use by someone else. Inside the flat was very noisy due to commercial exhaust fans close to the building and it was too warm to shut the windows. Apartment from that it was very clean, tea, coffee milk etc. provided and it is in an excellent position, very close to the city centre.
