Beautiful room. I wished to have gone again, but my car broke down and I cancelled ther trip.

it's a nice family and the room was nice and clean. and had a lovely dog they let us book in a little earlier.

if Ur into people having a dogs it's all good, the dog was blocked off and only stayed in the kitchen area and was kept away from you. and more teabags one coffee there was only 2 teabags peers night.

Super stay, comfy bed, lovely breakfast and excellent hosts

The location was superb, not in the middle of the city but only a bus ride away plus it offered free parking. Also breakfast was delicious, simple but lovely food! The hosts were incredibly attentive, including the little dog!

Affordable and close to centre

Close to centre Clean and did the job. Was comfortable and affordable for few nights in Edinburgh Bus route to centre 20 mins Also staff were very helpful and polite

Perfect for a week end in Edimburgh

I loved how easy to was to reach from the airport and go into town. I also really liked the overall look fo the place and how cosy it all was. The staff is lovely and the rooms are cleaned daily.

The shower is a little complicated to work out and the room we had was a little small. It's fine for the two days we were in Edimburgh but if we were staying longer, it would have become annoying.

Convenient for bus into Edinburgh. Had parking. Clean, breakfast good. Room well kitted out.

Not enough normal English teabags left. Ended up buying some- but i suppose we could have asked for more. Everytime someone opened and closed front door our bedroom wall shaked.

Walkable to park and restaurants, clean and tidy room and facilities. Host wanted to be helpful and was pleasant.

Great breakfast with parking available for the car!

The breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order and delicious. The room had everything you would need on holiday. Parking was available.

Our room was in the front of the house next to a very busy street- bring ear plugs. Our opinion was that the pillows (flat) and mattress on our bed needed to be replaced.

The Guest house was excellent and comfortable. Our host helped us immensely by letting us bring our baggage before check in. The room was spacious, comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in the clean shower and the cold water bottles for us was a welcomed addition- many thanks.

OK for one night

Acer Lodge is close to the airport. It's convenient for late arrival or early departure. Breakfast is generously served and tasty.

The lodge is located along a very busy road. Despite double glazing, it's quite noticeable in the room. There is no way you can open the window. The place is OK for one night but quite far away from the center. Our room was OK. It's just far too expensive for what you get.

Nicely decorated, warm home away from home

The facilities were good and modern. The staff helpful and available. Parking was close to the door. A bus to the old town is literally across the road. A kettle and coffee/tea/milk etc and a fridge were available. A guest book has ideas of what to do and where to eat locally. Downstairs was a selection of books on Scotland that I found useful reading. Carpeted and nice decor. We did not have breakfast there but saw the nicely laid-out dining room.

The eateries and supermarket were not nearby to walk to but were accessible by car. However, need to account for one-way roads and crossing a very busy main road. No elevator to go up the stairs. However, it is only one floor.

Very comfortable, home-feel. Reccomended!

Very cozy homey feel. Nice shower and amenities like a mini-fridge and a smart-tv. We also reccomend Ye-ol’ in for dinner. Very local spot with a big delicious menu.

I asked my friend what he thought but just as myself, we don’t have any complaints.

The owners are very nice people and prepared coffee and a takeaway snack for us since we had to leave before breakfast.

The room was comfortable, clean and perfect for be our last night in Scotland.

The house is on a busy road, so it’s fairly noisy if you open the windows. Overnight it wasn’t too bad, though the traffic started picking up early with rush hour.

Inconvenient to main tourist areas and uncomfortable.

Decent location for reaching restaurants, close to bus stop, good blackout curtains, helpful hosts. Has a small refrigerator.

Stinky scratchy towels, moldy looking bathroom ceiling, sinking uneven bed, very high traffic area. Entrance ceiling looked caved in from water problems. Weird electric shower.

Cleanliness and comfortable. The Lothian bus route was within few steps which you may take for Royal mile or Ocean terminal.

I had a wonderful stay at this lodge with my family of 5. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was amazing as well. I highly recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway nearby the city.
