The hotel itself is lovely. The room was a good size with nice facilities. The location is good in Lapad. The pool is very pretty.
The food & drinks at the pool, bar and restaurant are good (if a bit pricey)…. If you can get service. There lies the problem, service was very slow and not very diligent. We went for lunch by the pool and waited over 30 mins for 2 drinks to arrive and even longer for the staff to find a menu to bring so we could order lunch. We also had a few other minor small issues with service things like being given 4 hand towels instead of 2 hand towels 2 bath towels. Calling down to reception for fresh glasses (as they hadn’t been changed) and getting put through to the restaurant who couldn’t help. If they can resolve these minor annoyances this would really elevate the hotel so it matches the look & feel.
Also very strange thing that they charge for €150 - €300 for the cabana beds at the pool. This means that when the pool is busy all the loungers are full but the cabanas will all be empty. There are quite a few cabanas taking up space and feels a bit of a money grab by the hotel.

Hotel was new and in particular we loved the layout of the room, sensibly designed bathroom and amenities. Breakfast was nice and we had a lovely dinner at SOL on our last night. However, front desk service could be better and more customer-centric.
