Great place & facilities, we arrived late & left early as ferry passengers...room very hot so had to use fan immediately & all night. We had to keep window closed as advised mosquitoes prevalent & feral cat lurking... Despite this the cabin suited our needs as an overnight bolt hole, and we will stay again if allowed 😀

A stylish, beautifully appointed cabin in the grounds of the owner's house, with its own private garden and seating area. Very comfortable accommodation in a convenient location for overnight stays either before or after taking the ferry at Newhaven. Very clean and with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed and good shower. Lots of electric sockets. Ample off-road parking. Will stay again if visiting the area in future.

We had a one night stay in order to catch the early ferry. The cabin was fantastic and a perfect location for ferry. Rowena was a fabulous host and had the cabin prepared beautifully with everything you’d need for an overnight stay. It was so good we’ve already booked again for our next French road trip in 2027!
Nothing, it was perfect. 👌
