Everything was brilliant

Very clean, comfortable bed, good fridge showers and crockery. Compact space but well organised. 4mins drive from the ferry port, very convenient!

The bedroom only had a roof light so being a person who sleeps with windows wide open that was not ideal. But the bed was very comfortable.

Great location. Very cosy and modern. Super clean. Host was superb. Best value

The place was clean, bright in the day, with a nice bathroom. The owner was pleasant and helpful.

Its not what I didn't like. As im sure for many as the ratings show it is great...however I feel a few pictures regarding where you are staying should be taken down as they are misleading. It is a bedsit not an apartment. A cpl of images show a bed and a few others highlight a breakfast table of sorts. This made me think I was having a living room bedroom kitchen concept. It is however if you trawl through information and the different tabs mostly there that it is not this. However most people with look at pictures and the first page. Unfortunately for me I needed to be left alone to remove myself from society for a break as I lead a very face to face work life. I was keen to hideaway for a day or two. It turns out you are not only at the back of the house you also have another bedsit next door. I had to let the gas man in and then be apprehensive about him coming back (again normally perfectly fine but I needed to hideaway as mentioned to Nicky) so dealing with messaging admin and people pontentially coming to the door kept me on edge when I really need to distress and recover. On the final day the instructions to pick up the key post taking her child to school was agreed and instead being asked at around 8 was frustrating- being told to remember the arrangement (that she had misconstrued similar to the arrival) was enough. I got dressed, gave the key and left. Im not sure how people can give this a 1 star but equally amazed how people give this a 10 I think taking away from my specific needs to be left alone the property and stay is a 7 for this bedsit.
