Secure parking, great location, wasn't expecting to collect keys from stays office, which was the other side of town - not great in rush hour traffic so they ended up having to bring it to us as we were so late. apartment was lovely - nice decor, plenty of space for 2 and everything provided that we needed. Couple of bits that could improve- coat hook was falling off - I screwed that back in. We found half eaten cake in a take out box in fridge and one cup that needed a wash - all easily fixed though. Balcony photo online is misleading - you look out over car park. river walks at bottom of road were excellent, and there were some great local cafes along the road for breakfast.

Just one issue. Had to go to the office to collect the key. Driving into a city we didn't know with so many roadworks and closures was horrendous. Took ages to find the office (yes we had sat nav) then struggled to park. Very stressful and time consuming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alma Terrace. It was nice to retreat to a quiet residential area at the end of the day. A lovely walk along the river to get to the city centre and attractions. The unit had all that we need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Service and communication with Stays York was top notch. They were always quick to respond to any questions we had.
