All I can say is, it gave me a place to sleep at night.
To start off it took my family a total of about THREE hours to finally find the property, even with the ‘help’ of staff. Customer Service is absolutely zero help whatsoever, we called stating that we were just down the street of the home, and it took them over 45 minutes to finally provide the proper address to the property.
When we finally got to the place the door code didn’t work, and we had to get it reset which took another hour.
Upon arrival I noticed tremendous amounts of what looked (and smelled) like dog hair from a previous tenant on the couches, blinds, counters, etc. that hadn’t been cleaned off before our stay. The whole place smelled like dog.
The utensils in the drawer clearly hadn’t been washed thoroughly, with small amounts of crusted food still stuck to them. Thankfully we brought our own plastic utensils but it’s still ridiculous to claim you provide your tenants with utensils and proceed to not take the proper health precautions before allowing people to stay at your property.
Bedroom #2, the one with the, what I think is a queen-size bed, had a leak in the ceiling which ended up dripping onto the mattress AND the person sleeping below. Absolutely disgusting if you ask me.
The ‘private’ pool was full of people who didn’t even stay there, trashing the place every chance they got. Clothing items weren’t picked up, goggles left everywhere, food containers left on tables. Only ONE person had come within those three days of our stay to clean the pool.
Casa Sophia #12 overall is not a very pleasant place to stay. The owners aren’t helpful, the place clearly isn’t taken good care of, and I really just didn’t enjoy my stay at all.
Save your money, folks — because $1,300 to stay in a traphouse isn’t worth months of overnight shifts.
