The location was excellent, most of all the sites of Florence were easily reached with a short walk. It was convenient to just stop by midday to take a short break.
Given heat rises, the beds up on the lofts took longer to cool down. But it did cool down, given the A/C worked. That said the kids who slept up there never complained and my youngest that sleeping i the lofts was fun. Though the place had two showers, no one wanted to use the small narrow concrete one, even though it was clean.

Appartamento ampio, arredato con gusto e molto confortevole, dotato di tutto il necessario anche per soggiorni lunghi. La posizione è eccezionale, praticamente in Piazza della Signoria. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Non posso che consigliarlo.

It could not have been better located for all the attractions of Florence. Just perfect! And, the hosts could not have been more accommodating.
It needed a microwave...otherwise, it was well appointed and comfortable. You do have to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment if that matters. I called it "exercise"!
