The location is phenomenal. You get the best of both worlds - the property is a full house to yourself tucked away in a small residential area that gives you an authentic Japanese living experience, complete with futons and tatami flooring upstairs. At the same time, you're within walking distance of Sunshine City and all the main attractions Ikebukuro has to offer. It's incredible especially for introverted anime fans because the tourists in this area are very low compared to the other anime hot spots, even though it clearly rivals and exceeds Akihabara in many ways. The Japanese people know this well as Ikebukuro is one of their primary urban hubs and the larger Toshima ward is the most densely populated in Tokyo.

Even though it is much larger than a hotel room it can still feel very cramped, especially for longer stays. The toilet room is very tiny, though the toilet itself has a high-end bidet system and is very nice. If you're not familiar with using a drying rack instead of a dryer it can be a bit tedious to get used to, but there are coin laundries nearby if you want to use those instead of the included washer. The stairs are steep and the ceilings are low, but if you're physically fit enough to walk around Tokyo all day it's not a challenge. Just watch your head if you're on the taller side (I bumped my head a couple times)!

楼梯上方和拐弯处，太窄也比较陡，不适合年纪大和腿脚不好的人，有一间卧室靠近有轨电车，有些声音，晚上11点以后到早上6点左右，这个时间段没有电车。

Very close and can take Yamanote line from Otsuka to get to main attraction areas in Tokyo.

Steep stairs and narrow layout. If tourists coming to visit are on the bigger side, please be mindful it will be a squeeze.
