9STAY Bunkyo Otsuka

I didn't know if I should review the accommodation or my experience there because there is a big difference between the two. The place is great. There is enough space for one or two people. It is very clean and looks new. There is a separate bathroom, a small kitchen, a toilet, and a bathroom. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, water heater, small fridge, and basic utensils. In the bathroom, there is a washing machine. The shower area is separated by a door and can be used as a drying room - there is a machine for that. It was great to wash laundry and get clothes dry relatively quickly. In the bedroom, there are a few USB-A sockets and extension cables that allow you to use an adapter with grounding. The location is very good, as 9Stay is located just a short walk from a metro station. The host is friendly and very responsive. I had to message them about the neighbors (more about them in the "didn't like" part) in the middle of the night and still got a reply. In general, the place is very good, and I liked it.

The place is located next to a relatively quiet side road with a few cars and motorcycles driving by every minute. The problem is that you hear every one of them. The sound insulation is very poor, and the road is just behind the window. That could be solved with earplugs, but nothing helped with the neighbors. During my stay, there were people upstairs who banged on the floor, screamed, laughed, and talked very loudly during the night. This happened on two nights, and I made the mistake of not reporting it after the first night. Although I don't know if that would have made any difference, since I also heard cleaning sounds the next morning so I assume there were different people staying on the second night. The noise then continued until 3 a.m. On the second night, I messaged the host and they told me they had sent a message to the people staying upstairs. Unfortunately, they either didn't read the message or didn't care, and the noise continued. This is a problem with apartment hotels where hosts have no way to intervene directly in problematic situations. The bad actors ruin the experience for everyone else and the reputation of the hotel itself. I liked the place, but not being able to sleep properly ruined my experience. So just to recap: your experience depends heavily on the neighbors. Another thing I didn't like about the place was the bed. It is very hard (which I like), but you can clearly feel the springs inside the mattress. The bed needs a mattress topper.

Gut und ruhig gelegen in der Nähe vom Bahnhof Ostsuka. Quasi neu gebaut ist alles sauber und ordentlich gewesen. Es gibt genügend Platz.

Die Betten könnten komfortabler sein und Trinkgläser wären gut.

La colazione non era compresa, ma lo sapevo Bagno con tutti i comfort interno all'alloggio ma in locale separato Stampelle e phon presenti nonché detersivi e spazzolini Ogni problema che si presentava lo facevamo presente tramite mail e velocemente ottenevamo risposta

C'è poco da migliorare...la scala x arrivare nei vari alloggi è un po' ripida e stretta (non c'è ascensore) e istruzioni per i vari elettrodomestici poco dettagliate (attrezzo anti intrusione nella finestra mai visto prima e che non sono riuscita a togliere)
