Mountainside Family Beach House - Pet Friendly

The location is amazing if you want access to the beaches in Voelklip. It is also close to the cliff paths. The house has a lawn area for children to play

There are issues with the plumbing. There was no hot water for one of the bathrooms. One of the other bathrooms had a blocked drain which flooded the outside stoep. We were rather disappointed to find no indoor fireplace although it was listed under amenities. The parking is off street, not secure as stated.

Das Haus ist ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, in schöner Umgebung gelegen. Der Koch-/Ess-/Wohnbereich ist offen gestaltet und sehr groß. Die Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Veranda vor dem Haus und einen Garten und Terrasse hinter dem Haus mit ausreichend Möbeln. In gut 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß direkt am Meer und Klippenweg. Ein paar Restaurants und Strände sind ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Location is great, as well as the number of rooms & bathrooms

The back outside area, was dirty (leaves & sand) as well as the outside table. I don’t expect to be cleaning a property when I arrive on the first day, this should be checked and done by the managing agents. The floors inside we dusty & sandy as well. The bathroom attached to the room on the road side, bath mats seemed used and not fresh, and bath not clean either. Beds could do with an upgrade, as well the size. There is a missing septic tank cover missing at the start of the driveway, which is really dangerous to either walk into or drive, well as unhygienic.
