Memorable family stay right on the rocks.

Exquisite views and beautiful setting on the rocks, comfortable and well laid out accommodation. Lovely to watch and hear the waves break, and step out for a safe walk in nature, next to the ocean.

Not within walking distance to shops, beaches and town area; however it is only a short drive away.

Refreshing Stay

We loved everything about Huisie by die See, from the beautiful ocean views right from the door step, to the well equipped home. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The walking path allowed for scenic morning strolls and epic sunset views. The home is located in a lovely club house, where we got to cool down at the swimming pool and played some games with our kids. Great place and highly recommended

On the Rocks

The house is "on the rocks," making the stay amazing as the ocean is literally in your lounge . The house is fully equipped. There are lots of seating and there is also a fold out bed, making it an 8 sleeper . The house is very comfortable . The house is self-catering accom and is serviced on request at an additional.cost . The entrance to the house is down, flight of stairs, and may not be suitable for people with disabilities or assisted seniors .

Movement for this accom is limited to the estate. You will need to drive out of the estate for restaurants and shops . Hermanus Town centre is a few minutes' drive from the estate.

Our family would like to thank the host for providing us with an unforgettable vacation....just what our family needed. The house is absolutely fantastic and the views are breathtaking. The calmness and serenity the home provided was on another level. Waking up to the most stunning views and sounds of the ocean rumbling was a first for our family. The home was tatesfully decorated with all the necessary amenities to ensure we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you so much to the host for providing our family with the most beautiful memories . We would love to book another vacation with you guys again sometime. And will definitely recommend your place to family and friends.

The place was very neat and tidy❤️ The location...wow just loved it🌊

The main bedrooms stackdoor made a noise when the winds were so strong. We only had one set of keys for the main house and the 4th room, which means we had to go back and forth when we wanted to open or lock.

The cleanliness, the fact that the house was right on the water and the size of the house.

No bath mats for the bathrooms, the flatlet's shower didn't seal properly and there were some necessary kitchen utensils missing.

The fact that the property is right on the sea is beautiful. Very close to town.

Pillows on all the beds are not great quality and need to be replaced. Didn't like having to drive through Zwehile to get to the accommodation.

House tidy and neat on overall look but on closer inspection requires decent cleaning especially all less visible areas eg Lot of dirt on top of fridge/washing machine, electric cuboard, Sticky floors, Blocked shower drains and outside basin, Hair from previous visitors in bathroom and bedroom, General Maintenance needed - chipped wineglass, dent in fridge, broken patio green chair, multiple loose coat/ hook hangers, leaking shower door, bath tub seal, rain gutters, sliding door wheels need cleaning and or replacing. Bent key No steak knives?? CLeaner was washing windows still at 3pm ie almost an hour after our checkin. Main bedroom mattress worn out needs replacement, others questionable Better directions to get to the estate ie safer road alternatives. Google maps directions not reliable esp after dark

The fact that there was no warm water in the main house. The owner tried fixing the geyser but the plumbers couldn't get the thermostat.

Moes deur plakkerskamp ry, maar ons was heel veilig. Geen voorvalle nie. Ook baie veilig op die strand. Sal definitief die plek aanbeveel en weer gaan.

Location of the house - right on the rocks! Really appreciated the cleaning material that was available for use - washing powder, dish washing liquid, etc.

Sadly, the proximity of the squatter camp did mean that we did not go out in the evening to come 'home' after dark. But we did feel safe and secure in the complex.
