I had such a great experience staying here! The place was spotless from top to bottom. you could tell real care went into maintaining it. Fresh linens, sparkling bathroom, and not a speck of dust in sight. secure safe parking was a huge plus for me.everything I wanted was within walking distance

Perfect for short or long stays. Excellent location!

Perfect location and gorgeous holiday home for a large family. Fully equipped! Walking distance to the main restaurants and tourist attractions. 5 min drive to the Whale Mall. 2 hours from Cape Town and easy access to the main road but quiet you don’t hear anything but birds in the morning. We felt relaxed after a stressful few days of moving. We would love to come back soon and stay for longer. We have stayed in many holiday properties in Hermanus - this is our favourite.

Home away from home

Fantastically well appointed spacious property, perfect for a large family or group. Very comfortable and clean. Large outside area with fire. We had the lounge fire going and it was very cosy. Brilliant location, a supermarket within walking distance. Fantastic place!

The place waa wonderful

The owners communication after we departed is nothing short of utter and blatant racism. Un bekmowing to us we enquired about charger and the response was a littany of insults and degrading and defammatory comments that were both shockin snd unexpected. The only explanation we can offer is racism absolute n utter racism

Great choice for the easy going guest 👍

Neat old house modernized to a fair result. Very spacious property inside. Close to town, you can easily walk to shops, CBD and restaurants at the seashore. Nice outside under-roof area at front of house for having a "braai" (barbeque) with friends. This property would make a lovely family home.

Creaky old wooden floors (photos are a bit misleading as they seem polished and new) that make the wardrobes shake and rattle as you walk past them; the noise created by moving around would upset any light sleepers in the house. Mostly old furniture which would not have been so memorable had the lounge suite not been so uncomfortable; it gave the impression of being worn out as you sit deep with your backside near the floor and knees up by your ears.... or so it felt - I could not spend any real time sitting like that. We were presented with a previously opened, and quarter used, carton of long life milk in the fridge for use in making coffee & tea. How long the milk had been open for is unknown. The man we spoke to on the number provided came accross very short at time of phone call regarding a special request. I got the impression he would rather not have taken a last minute 1x night booking on a Thurs night when he had the property booked out for the weekend starting the following day. The lady we handed the keys back to upon check out was far more welcoming.... but this last comment is for the "Things we liked" section.

Rustic stay in Hermanus

The wonderful big space and its really suited to sleep about 6 people comfortably. It has all you need and has a cute rustic charm to it. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, grocery store and short walk to the harbour. Wished we stayed longer

We had a few issues with the TV which they came to fix, but every now and then it was not working until we managed to figure it out. One other thing that bothered us was the staff arriving unannounced. It was an invasion of privacy and made the group uncomfortable.

Cosy, quirky good value for money. Few small changes could make it even better

Great location ….liked being able to walk to the local restaurants. Very quiet location and secure parking. The kitchen is very well equipped in terms of appliances….full oven and gas hob, washing machine, large fridge and freezer. Coffee tea and sugar provided. All much appreciated. Lounge was cosy and pleasant General feel was cosy and quirky.

The showers!! Both rooms had showers which were were very erratic with regards to water temperature and pressure. Scalding one moment and freezing the next. Really annoying. Also we did not like the the toilet /bathroom and bedroom all being one room with just a shower curtain dividing the two. The kitchen utensils need checking through and replacing. Chipped mugs, very tired place mats. Plastic flowers and plants ……better to have none.
