Perfect

EVERYTHING. Location couldn’t be better. Suna the owner was lovely and had left lots of goodies for us - milk, wine, cheese, crackers, home made biscuits, rusks. All round window was stunning and we spotted whales and dolphins while sitting in the lounge.

A small problem with getting into the apartment but Suna sorted it and brought us home made bread as an apology. Would be good to get the key safe number with the directions.

Excellent self catering apartment

Excellent location and well stocked kitchen with all facilities available such as washing machine ,dryer and dish washer. Spectacular views and central placement for shops and restaurants. Owner and agent in regular contact.

The double beds were small (queen size) difficult to block out morning light . Very tight parking area to access garage parking space, unsuitable for large car. Wi-Fi didn’t work in 2 bedrooms

Magnificent location and accommodation.

We had the most wonderful stay in Hermanus at The Sun, Whales and Waves Apartment. The accommodation was absolutely magnificent, and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge and relaxing while watching the beautiful sea views. We saw whales and dolphins from the comfort of home. Our hostess spoiled us with so many extras, chocolates, cookies, cheese and wine, and small things throughout the apartment that really makes a huge difference. A truly 10/10 experience and accommodation. Great restaurants and coffee shops a short walk just up the road. We will definitely be back.

Wow! Amazing property. Beautifully furnished and such attention to detail. Lovely treats too. Everything you would need. The location is perfect. Spectacular views of the bay and visiting whales. Private parking a bonus and very secure. Hermanus is a great little town right on your doorstep. Beds super comfy and great showers. Great communication from Suna and Ethan.

Unbeatable location with breathtaking views from the exceptionally comfortable living room. Thoughtful hosting with delightful touches that make the stay feel special. All bedrooms are en-suite. Just a short walk to shops, excellent restaurants, and the stunning coastal walkway. Highly recommended.

Abundance of care and perfections will meet you here

Of all of the many places that we have booked with Booking.com over the past 15 years, this host, Suna, and the accommodation itself were both most definitely the best in all respects. It exceeded all expectations of a weekend by the sea and a lovely, caring host. This beautiful sea-facing apartment had everything and much more. We were met with kindness, generosity, the touch of love from someone who wants her guests to have a wonderful experience. The whole place touched our hearts. I can make a very long list of everything, but there is not enough space here - perfect homeliness, cleanliness, abundance of extras, and the secret ingredient of genuine love. If my children had to choose a place out of all our previous accommodations, they agreed without hesitation that they would choose this home. We can only thank Suna for a very special Easter weekend.

Everything. The location was perfect and allows you to see Whales form the living room. The facilities were great. But most importantly, the host (Suna) - was the best we’ve every experience in all these years of travel. She was very thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make the experience extra special. Incredible apartment, incredible host and a long weekend to remember and a place to return to very soon!

The position of this apartment is just incredible. With views right across the bay and being so central to being able to walk everywhere! The apartment has everything you could expect and more. So comfortable and spacious and all room en-suite plus and extra guest toilet. There is a garage for a small car. Our host Suna was just wonderful and was there to meet us when we arrived and kept checking g up that all was well and sending messages to tell us where the whale sightings were. She left us with wine, homemake rusks and biscuits. Excellent inverter during loadshedding for TV, wifi and some lights.

Lifts don’t work during loadshedding so a bit tricky with elderly parents as the is on flat on 2nd floor but Suna kept us abreast of loadshedding schedule so we could plan when to go out. If you have no mobility issues, not a problem!

A stunning apartment and the host Suna has thought of everything to make a truely memorable trip!

It is the most beautifully decorated apartment in central Hermanus with great views. The owner really went the extra mile with keeping us up to date with load shedding schedule. There with so much attention to detail with all the appliances, amenities and treats left for us which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely go back.

The location is amazing, wonderful views. The apartment is beautifully presented and the host Suna has thought of everything and added many extra thoughtful touches which make this a perfect holiday home. We have booked to return.

We took the warning that getting into the garage required years of practice and parked in the space over the road but it wasn’t a problem.
