Disappointed

We love Hermanus! This property is literally next to the ocean. It's in a secure complex.

This property needs some serious work and TLC. We were most concerned about the mold in the rooms (literally had to make a bed on the living room, because the odour from the moldy curtains was too overwhelming to sleep there. Struggled to open the top door to go out on the balcony, owner said he keeps forgetting to fix it. Bedding was clean, but worn and washed out. Windows were dirty, which was a shame, as it took away from the gorgeous view we COULD'VE had. The deck in front, where you could sit and look at the ocean, was so dirty. We never even sat there. Cigarette buts and other litter in the plant bedding. The property feels neglected. We will not be back.

Amazing sea views with a perfect beachfront location

Amazing location and the staff at the Beach Club were kind and helpful. Beautiful views right on the ocean.

Accomadarion felt a little dated. The dishwasher didn’t really work, some blinds were broken, limited bathroom supplies and the entire place could use a god deep cleaning. The neighbourhood leading into the Beach House was less than ideal however security was superb and we had no issues at all. We had read reviews about the surrounding neighbourhood but didn’t realize to the extent. Again the people in surrounding neighbourhood we very friendly and we didn’t feel unsafe.

Beautiful location for whale watching and as a base for local area.

Beautiful property in a wonderful location. Very well equipped. Whales appeared for final morning. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Very comfortable stay - spacious home with breathtaking views.

Breathtaking views - one can almost feel the spray of the waves it's that close to the sea. Don't venture out on the rocks without shoes, though. The house is located within a walled estate and the grounds are well looked after and the security excellent - the security officers patrol all night.

We were well aware of the fact that one has to drive past an informal settlement to get to the house before we went, but it might not be suitable for active people who might want to go for a run or a lenghty walk as one cannot venture outside the estate on foot.

The approach to the location is not the best but the beach club itself is very nice and the house view onto the ocean is stunning.

Relaxing 2 nights stay right on the ocean with a great outdoor space

The outdoor deck is amazing to watch the ocean and relax. Beach club central facilities are great, especially for the kids - basketball, tennis, mini golf. Also a bar and mini shop for the adults

Bit further out of town and was missing some basic amenities like soap, hand towels, salt and pepper

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und liegt direkt am Meer. Man hat sowohl von der Veranda als auch von der oberen Terrasse einen ungestörten Blick auf die Fluten. Eingebettet in die Clubanlage fühlt man sich absolut sicher.

Einige kleine Renovierungsarbeiten würden zur Verbesserung des optischen Eindrucks der Räume beitragen.
