Normandie On Sea

This home was one of the most spectacular places that I have ever stayed in, and that's not even an exaggeration. The character, the charm of this place, just tells you how much effort is put into it. The home was spacious, very clean, and so well presented with every bedroom, bathroom, the kitchen, living room and tv room all being fully prepped and ready for a stay. The bedrooms were very spacious, warm from the heaters, and comfortable to sleep in. The bathrooms were well equipped with soaps, shampoos, towels, floor mats, toilet paper etc. The kitchen was really impressive as it had pretty much everything one could think of or need in a kitchen. My personal favourite room was the braai room, it was very spacious and so well equipped for a braai of any size. The option to purchase wood was also a huge plus. The tv room with it's fireplace and big front of house windows was just such a spoil. The home is so well situated with it being right across the road from Ficks Restaurant and the tidal pool, plus only about 8 to 10 minutes walking distance from the town center. Communication with our host, Danelle, was very clear and polite. This home is a real rare gem and if I ever have the chance to visit Hermanus again, I would only want to stay in this beautiful home. So clean and comfortable

Superb location with views of the coast and sea, and a large living space. The kitchen is very well kitted out. The property feels safe (alarmed) and there is parking round the back. Would recommend.

Slightly limited space for relaxing outdoors - there is a braai pit but the area is mostly concrete. A plant or two would be nice to make the space more relaxing.
