I trust our honest review assists in making some improvements to this well located unit.

Centrally located and close to the train station

Where were a number of disappointing things about this apartment.: Mould was visible in the bathroom in some tile grouting and the sealing around the bath. One towel was stained although washed as were two mattress protectors. The mat in the lounge area was also stained. The markings on the stove top and oven had worn off. The above stove light did not work. The cups and mugs were stained requiring washing before we felt comfortable to use them. It was difficult to get our luggage up the stairs ( no lifting the building). The entrance to the building was unswept and quite dirty as was the landing outside the apartment door. Regular sweeping would improve the initial impression of this accomodation option. We arrived earlier than the check in time and were unable to get an immediate message to the host. We then received a rude message and we felt our explanation was not acknowledged with some understanding of our situation.

The property was close to the town centre. It was very clean and had most of the facilities that you needed for an overnight stay or longer.

I didn’t want to use the parking facility as it was not lit up at night , not a problem if it’s an overnight stay as the Premier Inn car park is next door to the flat, but if you were staying longer the fees could be costly. The flat is a little tired in places, especially the bathroom. The symbols for the oven dials were worn away, and it would have been helpful to have a diagram showing these as they should be. There were bath towels but no hand towels. The flat is next to a train line and a busy road, not a problem for us but not for light. Sleepers.

Comfortable stay, in a comfortable apartment equipped with all the required amenities for a short stay. Dina was a great host with great communication

Excellent space for meeting up with friends

Good size living room, comfy beds, all the facilities we could possibly need. Only a short 5 minute walk from the city centre. Host was also very helpful after one guest left some property behind.

Location comes at a slight cost due to proximity to train tracks. Loud when windows are open but easily ignored when shut.

I didn’t read the previous reviews so wasn’t aware of the loud noise from the train tracks. It is also a rough neighborhood with people living on the parking area underneath the building.

WORST STAY EVER! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

There was no hot water unless you press a boost button and waited over an hour, the place itself was dirty and also very dirty and unsafe on entering the property! There are homeless people sleeping in the car park, it is right near a train track so it is extremely busy!! The host is very unfriendly and unreasonable, they are also watching you on a ring camera so it is very unsafe with 0 privacy!!! Seriously please please avoid i wish i would of seen all the reviews before i booked

Served a purpose.

The bedding was fresh and clean.

It was very dated, looked tired and in need of modernisation. The underneath parking was terrible and I would hate to be on my own with children parking under there. I think small touches such as leaving UHT milk, would help.

Property well located to park, shopping area and bus terminal. Property meets basic needs and is cozy.

The common entrance way is not well kept and not very inviting.

Nice flat, unfortunately proximity to trains hindered sleep

Proximity to city centre, beds in bedrooms were comfy and property was well maintained and clean

The sofa bed for 4th adult was extremely uncomfortable - bad enough to sit on let alone sleep on. I hadn’t read reviews properly and missed the proximity to the train line - very close so very noisy.

Overall a great apartment, would definitely stay again in the future!

The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated and very clean, exactly like in the photos! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook basic meals, the living-room was comfortable and had a nice TV for relaxing in the evening, and very soft/fluffy towels were provided for the bathroom as well as shower supplies. The bedrooms were light and spacious enough for 3 people, and the beds/pillows were very comfortable, we had a good night's sleep. The host was easy to contact and quite quick to reply to messages, and provided clear instructions for arrival/departure and key collection ahead of time which made checking in and out easy and smooth. It was only a very short walk to all the city centre amenities, so the location was also perfect.

Parking wasn't the best, there's only a couple of spaces out the front of the building, the rest is down a narrow, steep little hill to a car park under the building, so you need to be careful when going in/out as only one car can fit up/down at a time. The car park under the building looked a bit sketchy, we were a little worried leaving our cars there but all was fine, nothing actually happened to them!

What a beautiful property! Check-in was straightforward. We walked in and we felt right at home. The property is beautiful, and tastefully decorated. It is clean, spacious and conveniently located to the sights of Southampton and all the amenities we needed. The free parking is a bonus. We are definitely going to make this our go-to accommodation whenever we are in Southampton. Thank you so much Dina!

Die Lage ist zwar zentrumsnah, das Haus liegt aber direkt an den Bahnschienen, so dass es selbst mit geschlossenen Fenstern sehr laut in der Wohnung ist, wenn ein Zug vorbeifährt. Außerdem ist es um das Haus herum - wie leider sehr oft in Southampton- sehr vermüllt und ungepflegt.
