After the first morning, once everyone in our group took a shower, a massive leak appeared in the living room downstairs. Water started dripping from the ceiling directly onto the couch. Even worse, the electricity went out. Out of courtesy, we moved the sofa to prevent more damage and discovered several dead cockroaches underneath. Later, sewage began leaking from the same spot in the ceiling.... When the owner arrived, we were told (in French – no English spoken) that the room was 'brand new' and that we would receive full compensation for the troubles. At the end of our holiday, however, we were only offered a free night's stay instead of our money back. This is ridiculous, as we live hundreds of kilometers away and have no intention of ever returning! Do yourself a favor, please avoid this place at all costs!

Ideal apartment in the very middle of Dinant with great views

This apartment is in the perfect location in the very middle of Dinant, with brilliant views out of the huge windows on two sides. It is also spacious and well-equipped with a comfy bed and aircon.

They only provide a Nespresso machine, which means if you are staying for a few days you must buy pods.

The initial pictures of the allocated room were slightly misleading, as we thought we would get one with corner view, ie the river and the church. The staircase was a little tight without lifts, it would have been good to be alerted to that.

Excellent location with a wonderful view of the river, very reasonable price, and super easy access.

The location is excellent—just next to the Notre Dame and close to downtown. The view from the window is fantastic, overlooking the bridge and the river, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. An extra sofa bed is available, which is convenient if travel mates prefer individual space. The key code was provided on time, so there was no extra administrative process and entry was very smooth. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of water and beer, so guests can choose what to enjoy.

The apartment seems recently renovated, but some parts were not finished very well (for example, the bathroom door could be improved). There was no coffee cream or milk provided, which would have been a nice touch. The room layout has been changed, so there’s no extra plug near the bed to charge a phone—you need to unplug the lamp instead.

A well-equipped apartment in the heart of city center

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city center. We had a wonderful view throughout our stay, enjoying both sunsets and city lights. All essential facilities were provided. The space was ideal for two people who don’t have a lot of luggage, as it was on the 2nd floor without an elevator, and it was very clean. Also self check-in made it very comfortable.

Maybe the only downside was the curtains/blinds. it wasn’t possible to pull them down fully, so there was always a gap where sunlight could come in. It also made changing clothes a bit difficult, as they had to be adjusted each time.

Avis mitigé..

La proximité avec les lieux d'intérêt, la vue, l'arrivée en autonomie et la propreté des lieux.

Il n'y avait pas de volet, les pare-soleils n'étaient pas assez longs pour couvrir toute la fenêtre... Dans une rue principale c'est compliqué de dormir avec la lumière et le bruit environnant... De plus, le seul chauffage fut une climatisation qui ne chauffait pas. Pour un mois de décembre ce ne fut pas agréable.

Très bon endroit

Excellent rapport qualité-prix, c'est très propre, hôtes attentionnés et disponibles. L'emplacement est idéal, une vue magnifique, un bon chauffage, une très bonne literie.

Tout était parfait, excepté les rideaux trop courts qu'il faut à tout prix changer. Je voulais mettre 10/10 car j'ai adoré, mais l'intimité est primordiale, c'est trop important. Les rideaux ont été changés dans des logements apparemment mais pas dans celui qu'on a eu.

Ligging. 2 badkamers

Erg scherp licht. Wij misten een gezellig lampje in de woonkamer en hebben daarvoor de lampjes van de slaapkamer gebruikt. Ook zou een klein salontafeltje wel makkelijk zijn als je voor de televisie zit. De douche van de slaapkamer loopt niet echt af en dat zorgde ervoor dat de douchemat doorweekt was. Misschien het douchegordijn verder naar binnen hangen.

Het was geweldig!

De locatie was geweldig: midden in het centrum tegenover de hoofdattractie: de kerk en de citadel en tegenover cafe Leffe. Vanuit ons appartement hadden we ook een geweldig uitzicht op de Maas en er zat zelfs een klein torenkamertje bij: we hadden het hoekappartement op de derde etage (nr. 3)

De deursloten functioneerden niet goed. De centrale deur naar buiten moest je zelf goed dichttrekken en bleef regelmatig open staan omdat anderen hem niet goed dicht deden. Ook het slot van onze eigen appartement (nr. 3, de zes-persoons) ging regelmatig niet dicht waardoor in feite ons appartement vrij toegankelijk was.

Goede locatie, minder fijne faciliteiten

Het is een goede locatie voor wanneer je Dinant wil ontdekken. Het bed is erg comfortabel. Er was iemand die aangaf daar schoon te maken en hij was heel erg vriendelijk.

Omdat het een appartement is hebben we zelf eten mee genomen. Helaas bleek de oven niet te werken. Daarnaast zijn alle rolgordijnen veel te kort en hangen ze te ver van het raam. Ditzelfde geldt voor het gordijn. Hierdoor heb je veel inkijk & ben je rond 5 uur al wakker van het licht. Alle recensies geven dit aan, maar er is nog niks mee gedaan.

Top Lage mit kleinen Defiziten

Das Apartment liegt an der für uns schönsten Stelle von Dinant, eine perfekte Aussicht und man ist direkt im Zentrum. Alles war sauber und gepflegt neu renoviert.

Der Treppenaufgang zur Wohnung ähnelt eher einer Bautreppe sehr rustikal und nicht gut gemacht, Sturzgefahr !! Die Toilette und das Waschbecken hängen viel zu hoch für Damen.

Super séjour !

L'appartement est génial avec une superbe vue. Très fonctionnel et lumineux. L'emplacement est idéal ! le système de code sur les portes permet une arrivée en toute autonomie et c'est parfait.

Les rideaux des fenêtres sont beaucoup trop court, du coup réveillé lors du lever du soleil …
