Parking was good, place was pretty clean. It’s just a really old patio home. There were no paper towels or other things. But the location is PERFECT for ACL.

To whom this may concern, We arrived at the property after a concert and were extremely disappointed to discover mice droppings throughout the unit—including on the beds, the stove, and even inside the microwave. It’s currently 2 AM, and we’ve been trying to make the best of the situation by washing the sheets and pillowcases ourselves. Unfortunately, there is no detergent provided, so we’ve resorted to using only hot water to clean one set of bedding. This is far from ideal and has significantly disrupted our night. We’re not sure how to proceed at this point and would appreciate immediate guidance or support. Is there someone we can speak to directly to resolve this? This experience has been incredibly inconvenient and disappointing. We hope to hear back as soon as possible.

Our family enjoyed the size of the condo and its location near Barton Springs. Having full use of the washer and dryer was a definite plus! Our children loved their bed and our king size bed was perfect. Parking was also a great.

We really enjoyed the location, it was convenient to get downtown, close to Terry Black’s BBQ, and near South Congress. Everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away. The property itself was lovely, with easy parking and simple access. Inside, it was spacious and cozy, featuring a beautiful living room, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, and a charming outdoor patio. It truly had a homey feel. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. It was clear that cleaning was only done on visible surfaces. The shower curtain was particularly dirty, we found a random sock under the bed, and there was dust in various spots. The cleanliness issues didn’t all bother me, but the shower curtain was unacceptable. We arrived at midnight after a 12-hour flight, and to our surprise, there were no towels or shampoo, not even hand towels—just two rolls of toilet paper. After such a long trip, not being able to shower was really frustrating, and we had to make a late-night trip to Target to buy towels. Additionally, the WiFi was difficult to connect to. The instructions said the network name was on the router, but it wasn’t. I had to try several networks before finding the right one. I reached out through the app about both the WiFi and the missing towels, but never received a response. If you plan to stay here, I recommend bringing your own towels or stopping by a local store to pick some up.

The place itself was amazing. It was super clean and we loved the lay-out. The townhouse is also conveniently located, close to downtown but not around loud bars or pubs. Also 6 min drive from a fabulous supermarket and 2-3 min drive from a delicious ice cream place and a superb Vegetarian restaurant!! One minor comment is that we didn't get the check-in instruction 24hr prior our arrival as stated when you make the reservation on Hotel.com. We got the info on the day of arrival, just a couple hrs prior to check-in. It was also requested that we provided a pic of ID and credit card. A request we deemed odd as no secure portal was provided.

This was an amazing stay. Everything was very close to the area. I love that we could park there.

night 1: took forever to find the unit. Hotels.com was supposed to send a link 24 hrs before arrival. The email arrived at 15:35, after check in opened. We took longer driving, arrived after dark after rain. Stairs were a surprise, dark and slippery. The address was in the text that we found AFTER calling the host. This unit, is NOT ADA friendly and wheeled luggage does not work. However, the unit was comfortable and well laid out with an upstairs sleeping and down stairs sitting areas. Some minor items require TLC, such as broken blind slats dark mildew stains on the upstairs shower. The unit could use a good deep clean, but the surfaces were OK. Balance of Convenience & Price for downtown Austin, it was alright, but Hotels.com needs to make better disclosure for lack of ADA compliant facilities (since it normally markets other hotels). Expectation vs Reality.

I ended up staying here cause the location I booked didn’t provide me an access code and so it was a last ditch change by Hotels.com to accommodate me! The location was close to where I initially booked but it was under construction so it was messy, didn’t look appealing, and just underwhelming! TV had issues and maintenance did help but never followed up and wasn’t able to watch anything until before I left while trying to relax
