About this bed and breakfast

A stunning 842 SF detached two-story Guest House in the heart of South Austin, separated from the Main Home by a tree-filled privtate entry. You'll have a full kitchen, dining, living area and a study/work space (desk & LCD monitor) and a half bath downstairs. Upstairs is a bedroom with a King Bed, walk-in closet and an elegant bathroom with a huge, dual-head shower. Guests also have part of the back yard, outdoor seating and a fire pit/chimnea to use that is partitioned from the rest of the yard. You will also have a Smart TV with streaming apps and a full size washer & dryer.

We are a very quick drive or a casual walk to Zilker Park, South Lamar and South Congress! We typically walk to our favorite places...like Lucky Robot Sushi, Torchy's, Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail, Thai Fresh, Auditorium Shores, Terry Black's BBQ, Summer Moon Coffee, Reina Pepiada, LeNoir, Fresa's and many, many food trucks & trailers!

Come see why Austin continues to be one of the fastest growing and best cities to live in! Cindy and I have been hosting fantastic guests for almost 4 years with 100% posative and ZERO negative reviews (on another site). We wish every vrbo rental was like this one! Our hosts were extremely welcoming, friendly & helpful without being overbearing. Even loaned us their bag chairs to use at a music festival we went to, which were total lifesavers. The rental was so clean, I even felt comfortable going barefoot inside, which I usually am not comfortable doing. The place was well appointed with every thing we could have needed. Bed was super comfortable & the neighborhood was quiet & felt very safe.

The location, neighborhood and the property itself were all perfect for us. Scott was super friendly and responsive even to the point of buying a coffee bean grinder for the kitchen when he found out we had whole beans. The outside areas were really nice to hang out in and the kitchen was well stocked with tools and pots, etc. we couldn’t have been happier. Great trip.

My son and I had a delightful stay at this adorable, comfortable guest house. The house is well appointed with fluffy towels and comfortable beds. My son slept in the study on the foldout and found it comfortable as well. Home instructions were clear and I met Scott the owner who was very kind and helpful. I can't express how awesome this property is as it's truly an experience. Having lived in Austin, I'm familiar with most of the city but had rarely been in this neighborhood as it's all residential. The area is extremely quiet, safe and lots of dog walks and huge trees. The property itself is exactly like the description and photos. Zero issues and only great surprises (such as peaceful breakfast nook and auto ice cubes!). Upstairs shower was a dream as well as the master bed in the loft. I've stayed many places and this by far is my favorite. No matter what you're doing in Austin, this place is close to everything and a beautiful space to unwind.

My wife and I stayed at this property for the CapTex triathlon with our two older dogs. The house is a guest house behind the main property and is a really beautiful two story spot. The property owners were the nicest people and shared with us recommendations of places to go check out for food and were great to chat with while taking the dogs in the backyard. The location is really easy to get to anything off Lamar as well as Congress and is in a quiet neighborhood that we felt very comfortable in. We would definitely stay here again when in Austin.

This is our second time staying at Scott and Cindy's place and we will definitely stay again whenever we return to Austin. The house is so comfortable, has nice windows but privacy and our dogs love it too. Our dogs even have their own little yard area. Scott and Cindy are great hosts. We love chatting with them and seeing their cute dogs! The house is in a great neighborhood for walking and close to so many great restaurants and coffee shops. We were so comfortable leaving in our dogs in the unit when we ventured out. The unit is contemporary and so nicely decorated and equipped with great appliances. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The home has everything needed and is beautifully designed. Hosts were hospitable and available if we needed anything. There is a main sleeping loft space with a huge new bathroom. There is an additional private sleeping area (futon) available in the study with it’s own half bath. The hosts kindly set up the futon for us since we needed both sleeping areas. There is also a nice outdoor space in the back with lighting and seating. Lots of comfortable options to gather and relax. Wifi was good too.

We visited Austin for a long weekend to attend the ACL music festival. We were so pleased with the guest house and could not have had a better experience!! The kitchen was well-stocked, the bathroom was enormous, the bedroom was tranquil, and the backyard was divine. Without a doubt we will stay here again if we return to Austin. Every single detail about our stay was outstanding - the location, the decor, the cleanliness, the amenities, and the host. We were in Austin for Austin City Limits and this location provided us with a quiet place to stay (with off-street parking!) while also being within walking distance to all the greatness that is Austin. Scott was a great host and made sure everything about our stay was perfect throughout the weekend; he definitely went above and beyond and we are so grateful.
