Overall had a nice stay and I’d recommend it for short stays.

I stayed in the room by myself but the room was spacious enough for two people. The bed was really comfortable and it had a nice shower.

The doors were quite loud when opening and closing and I got woken up by the noise when orher quests left when I was still asleep.

Great residential tilburg experience, had a blast with my own room and shower

I liked the location, was a nice place to explore a suburb of tilburg and a great place to crash after the concert I attended. Lovely bed and shower and view and vibe loved it

Worst conditions I've ever meet

Stairs highly dangerous due to the steep incline and curve. Bed surface too high, difficult to climb up. Impossible to use the sink inside the room due to the very narrow space. The need to step down 1 floor to use the toilet and then back again. Old furniture all around. Except for a small plaque with the building number, there are no indications that you are at the right place (when you're with a car). Overall, it is not worth it, not even for free!!! Way too many inconvenience there.

Beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy.

I don't mind staying in the basic kind of accommodation, but this place is odd. (1) The cameras in the hallways are uncanny. (2) There's a communal terrace just next to the room of the "sun" room (the "triple room with garden view") - there's zero privacy if there's people on the terrace and you don't want to close the curtains/shutters. (3) The triple room with garden view is advertized as having a "private bathroom" which in reality is just a shower cabin with a glass door in the middle of the room. Might be OK for couples but not very comfortable otherwise. (4) The toilet in the room has a glass door without any shading. From the terrace (see point 2) there's a first-class view on the toilet. (5) It's noisy - I don't necessarily *want* to hear the farts of somebody using the shared toilet, but I did. (6) The shared kitchen was not filthy, but not particularly clean either. (7) The rooms are advertized as "non-smoking rooms". However, there are these perfume vaporizers spreading some revoluting chemical perfume. When I turned the thing off and its smell faded, it became clear that these vaporizers are there to mask the odor of cigarette smoke. So either way, it just stinks (I preferred the cigarette smoke by the way, even as a non-smoker). Now, all of this wouldn't be too much a problem if it were really cheap. But it's not that cheap either. For the money, I expected at least the basics (privacy, cleanliness, non-smoking) be covered. Long story short: I don't recommend it.

Rooms in back of building much quieter

Rooms in the front of the building get hot and are on a noisy street. If you open the window to cool down you cant rest from the street noise. If you close the windows then its too hot to sleep due to no AC. Either way getting a good sleep is tricky. Rooms in the back side are of the building are probably much quieter and a better value.

Affordable room in a nice area.

This is a very small aparthotel, so it's worth noting that not all rooms come with a private bathroom. My room did, but I recommend confirming this with the host before booking. The location is convenient—just a 10-minute bus ride or a 30-minute walk to the Central Station. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The host was responsive and helpful, quickly addressing any questions or requests.

While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the kitchen area definitely needs attention. It was cluttered and borderline dirty, with issues like rotting bananas in cupboards and overflowing bins. According to the house rules, guests are not allowed to use the kitchen or refrigerator to store food. Although the host did allow access to the refrigerator after I raised the issue, it should be readily available without needing to ask, especially since it's mentioned in the room description. Another drawback is the poor soundproofing—you can clearly hear people talking on the phone or playing music, even late at night (sometimes as late as 2 am), which affects sleep quality. Lastly, the stairs are very steep, which could be a challenge if you're traveling with large or heavy luggage.

Perfect ! Don't hesitate to go here

Very nice host ! He waited for us because we needed to arrive after midnight. Very kind and help us to enter our room. The room was clean and Southern Sun is easy to access ! Many parking plots available near it.

The shower is visible by everyone in the room, maybe it could have something to hide ourselves from the 2 people sleeping with us.

For the given price, it is satisfying.

The location of the hotel is good, close to a supemarket and a bus station. The room was fine, yet very simple. Also, the owner of the hotel was very nice and welcoming.

The toilets are outside the rooms, sometimes even in a different floor. It impacted my experience.

Useful location with bus-stop right outside and some take-away restaurants / a bakery right around the corner.

Property listed private bathroom but it was a shared toilet that was down a set of stairs with a shower in the room. Stairs were steep and dangerous.

Eenvoudig, betaalbaar en op locatie vlakbij het centrum.

Voor mij handige locatie omdat het vlak bij mijn trainingsplek de volgende dag was. En zeer betaalbaar. Zeer fijn: een keuken waarin je zelf eten kan maken (maar er wordt dus geen ontbijt geserveerd!), en een soort huiskamer met een loeigrote televisie. Parkeren voor de deur!

Misschien slecht gelezen tevoren, maar een toilet 1 etage lager is niet echt handig en 's nachts echt niet fijn. Verder het nodige onderhoudsachterstand, een CV radiator die alleen hoog blaast maar geen lage stand aan kan, lichtknoppen die ik lastig vond (klikken weer zelf uit), een lamp met sensor in het halletje die niet aangaat etc.

Prima verblijf voor redelijke prijs, alleen een dikkere of reservedeken nodig

De instructie om binnen te komen was duidelijk. Het pand is oud, maar je kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en is goed gerenoveerd: prima douche, lekker bed en twee soorten kussens om uit te kiezen. Ook een bureau, aantal lampjes en lades/hangers voor je kleren. Beetje minder dat het toilet op een aparte verdieping is, moest ik mijn kamer voor uit 's nachts, maar dat is te doen.

Enige minpunt was het dekbed, dat was echt een zomerdekbedje en dat is minder prettig als het vriespunt nadert buiten - ik heb het echt wel koud gehad 's nachts. En er is geen reservedeken of extra deken in de kamer. Ook zou een klein koelkastje fijn zijn.

Das Zimmer war sauber.

Da keine Personal anwesend war, hat sich niemand um die extrem dreckigen gemeinschafts Toiletten gekümmert oder für eine angemessene Lautstärke gesorgt. Sowohl die Damentoilette als auch die all gender Toilette waren ekelhaft. In den Nachbarzimmern lief die ganze Nacht lautstark der Fernseher?, sodass man das Gefühl hatte es wäre im eigenen Zimmer. Auf dem Balkon des Hauses wurde gefeiert und sehr viel geraucht, sodass man das Fenster nicht öffnen konnte. Die Treppe in den zweiten Stock ist sehr schmal und steil. Sehr gefährlich wenn dann der Lichtschalter nicht funktioniert. Es scheint allerdings einen anderen Schalter zu geben. Da zu später Stunde das Licht brannte und das Schlafzimmer, durch den Glaseinsatz in der Türe, die ganze Nacht hell erleuchtete.

Bij aankomst werkte de 6 cijferige code waarmee de deur van mijn kamer open gemaakt kon worden niet. Terwijl ik met dezelfde code wel door de voordeur binnen kwam. Verder vond ik het erg gehorig. Mijn buren waren tot diep in de nacht aan het praten en ik kon ze letterlijk verstaan

Ik heb de eigenaar niet gesproken of gezien. Ik had bij de Booking aangegeven dat ik 2 aparte bedden wilden. Maar ik moest samen met een vriendin in een krab twee persoons bed slapen

Kamer was netjes. Zelf check-in ging prima en was goed uitgelegd. Vriendelijk contact met eigenaar via app en mail. Prima voor een overnachting na een concert oid. Met de bus naar de stad ging prima. Bushalte voor de deur. Terug met de Uber.

We misten de thee, want er was wel een waterkoker en de kopjes mochten wat groter zijn.

Poca calidad para un precio elevado

Que tenía la ducha en la habitacion. El dueño nos esperó hasta la noche cuando llegamos para abrirnos la puerta porque no iba con codigo. El señor fue muy amable

El alojamiento en el que me hospedé no es el reservado. El dueño me escribió esa mañana que por un error no había hueco para nosotras en su estancia y nos ofreció quedarnos en otro alojamiento de un conocido. No teníamos más opcion porque era el día q llegábamos. Nos alojamos en una casa que la han convertido en una especie de hostel. Nos dieron una habitación en el jardín bastante mal construida, super pequeña donde apenas podíamos movernos. Para ir al baño teníamos q salir al jardín y entrar en la casa y por la noche hacía bastante frío. Todo era viejo y mal hecho. Al menos la cama fue cómoda (tb llegamos super cansadas y era para dormir una noche). Al lado estaba el cuarto d la lavadora y por la mañana la gente salió a poner lavadoras. Por el precio que pagamos q no es nada barato 84€ esperábamos algo más limpio y decente

A ház előtt szerencsére mindig találtunk parkolót. Az önálló be és kicsekkolás ötletes megoldás.

A lépcsőt elég veszélyesnek tartom. Főként éjjel, ha az embernek mosdóba kell mennie. A szobában kávégép van elhelyezve, mindössze két kávékapszulával (2 főre 4 éjszakára foglalva). Szerintem nagyobb figyelmesség lenne, ha reggelente 1-1 kávét inni lehetne. Igazán semmibe nem kerülne. A konyhában nem találtunk kávéfőzőt. Mivel csak aludni volt szükségünk a szállásra, elég drágának találtam, mert egyébként nincs lehetőség másra. A szoba a tetőtérben nagyon meleg volt.

Je krijgt een slaapkamer met bed, douche en koffie. Geen enkele reden om te lang te blijven en snel Tilburg in, en de volgende dag weer vroeg door. Deuren van de andere kamers maken bij verlaten kamer veel geluid door dichttrekken. Beschrijving van de faciliteiten en comfort mag wel iets minder uitbundig.

Perfecte goedkope locatie vlakbij centrum Tilburg en de Efteling

Kamer was perfecte prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Ruim genoeg voor één nacht. Goed bed en douche. Zelfs tuin en terras aanwezig. Propere keuken en ruime living met zeer grote Smart-TV. Op wandelafstand van centrum Tilburg (20 - 25 minuten). Bushalte vlak voor deur. Heel goede en snelle communicatie met eigenaar. We mochten zelfs de volgende dag een uur langer blijven (tot 13.00u) zonder extra kosten.

Niets slecht. Wij waren zeer tevreden. De kamer en accomodatie voldeed aan alle basisvoorwaarden (en zelfs meer) voor een zeer goede prijs.

De afwerking. Van bepaalde dingen was niet netjes en vond het ook niet echt heel erg schoon zelfs de kleding lades Zelf vond ik dat er heel veel punten waren die gewoon veel beter kunnen Zo als netheid en schoonheid

Locatie. Alhoewel nog steeds 2 km van centrum. Bed was prima. Kon fiets kwijt in smalle opslag begane grond.

Geen personeel, woonhuis slaapkamers verbouwd voor opvang toeristen. Maar beperkte ruimte. Enkele rumoerige gasten die zeer goed hoorbaar waren.

Fantastisch!

Fantastische ervaring bij Southern Sun! Ik heb een geweldig verblijf gehad bij Southern Sun. De kamer was perfect: schoon, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt een plek waar je je direct thuis voelt. Wat me vooral is bijgebleven, is hoe ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam de eigenaar was. Ik was namelijk mijn telefoon kwijtgeraakt tijdens mijn verblijf, en de eigenaar heeft er alles aan gedaan om mij te helpen. Hij heeft actief meegezocht, met me meegedacht en heeft uiteindelijk mijn telefoon ook teruggevonden. Dit was echt boven verwachting en ik ben daar ontzettend dankbaar voor! Het meedenken, de vriendelijkheid en de betrokkenheid maken Southern Sun voor mij echt een aanrader. Ik kom hier zeker terug!

Voldoende voor één nacht

Er kon vroeg ingecheckt worden. Het was schoon op de locatie. Het bed was goed. Er was een bushalte naar het station voor de deur van het huis. De waterkoker op de kamer was prima om thee klaar te maken. Er was iemand die uitleg gaf ( in het Engels) en wees waar de keuken was.

Het Inchecken gaat met een code, via je telefoon/ mail. Omslachtig. De kamer was klein en warm. De deur van de doucheruimte kwam bijna tegen het bed aan. De rook van een beneden balkon ging zo het open raam in van de 'Moon Room'. Het was bekend dat er geen toilet was op de kamer. Jammer dat het een kleine toiletruimte was en dat er gezocht moest worden naar toiletpapier en een handdoek( terwijl er wel een kleine wastafel was). De slaapkamerdeur moest steeds hard dicht getrokken worden bij het verlaten van de kamer. Ook andere deuren maken veel lawaai. De prijs was te hoog voor de kamer(zonderontbijt).

Als uitvalsbasis voor het festival BKS was het goed te doen.

De kamer was schoon. Eigen douche en toilet op de kamer. De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en aardig.

Website is onduidelijk over de faciliteiten. Handdoeken en lakens aanwezig ja of nee. Gebruik van de keuken met koelkast ja of nee. Er staat dat je wel gebruik mag maken van de koelkast en niet. Koelkast was niet echt schoon. De ruimte om de fietsen te stallen was te klein. De kamer zelf was nogal warm. De zon staat pal op het raam. Een zonnescherm en/of ventilator zou heel fijn zijn.

La entrada independiente, la posibilidad de disfrutar las zonas comunes cocina, living y terraza. El anfitrión Igor es muy amable y está pendiente de las necesidades. La zona es muy tranquila, alejada del centro de la ciudad.

La habitación era un tanto pequeña.
