Casa di Claretta

Perfect location down a gorgeous side street. Easy directions to get in. 10 min walk from the train station, near many great restaurants, around the corner from Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, about 6 min walk to the ferry. Comfortable beds, great space, plenty of room for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, and much-needed air conditioning! The washing machine was essential to our travel and worked well. It was very charming. The area felt very safe, even late at night. Good value for the price.

Full disclosure - the bathroom was not great. The shower was tiny, but it's Europe so that's to be expected and was workable, however it didn't drain well, even from the first shower. The water on the ground became above ankle deep within minutes and was dangerously slippery. The toilet seat also moved around a lot. Admittedly though, we did not try to contact the hosts as we were only there a few days, packed with activities, so it is possible that it could have been rectified had we taken the time to reach out (or sought some type of drano). The noise level of the complex was very loud. It wasn't street noise, but the people that lived/stayed in the surrounding apartments. They were up until all hours of the night every night, not just on the weekend, and were so loud it often sounded like they were in the apartment with us. If they can fix the bathroom issues, and you bring earplugs, it is a good option for Como.

La douche s écoulait pas très bien et le tuyau était tordu ce qui rendait l’écoulement difficile

Location was excellent. we made our breakfast ourselves as almost everything was available in the kitchen.

Everything was perfectly all right, nothing major to be mentioned
