Super-friendly welcome from Andrew. Great location and views from the room. The food was excellent - both in the Stables bar in the evening (which had a buzzing but cozy atmosphere) and breakfast in the Canteen, which was far better than might be expected for a small hotel.
The kids’ room (triple basic) was really cold. In fairness it was one of the coldest nights of the year and otherwise it was a really good value room for 3 teenagers, so certainly wouldn’t stop us returning.

Location was amazing. Staff friendly. Food on our second night was very nice.
The room is a little outdated, understand there’s renovations ongoing but didn’t real get that hotel feel as the canteen was out of service also. The food on our first night was quite overdone and the bar was cold as the fire had gone out.
