Easy and friendly check-in. You explained that there was a continental breakfast and this was dropped to our room the night before which was great as we were off walking early. The flapjack was excellent!!!!
The free parking is literally for a 24 hour period. Had we known this we may have arrived slightly later as we knew we would be out walking the majority of the following day so we could have timed this better. Might be worth mentioning that on the booking info so you are aware.

The property was great, our room was warm, clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and polite. They did inform us that they’d only taken over 7 days earlier and so we’re still finding their feet but we thought they were very good.
We booked a “breakfast included” stay. The breakfast was a hamper of croissant, fruit and flapjacks. This was very disappointing as when we booked we were not told at any point it was not a cooked breakfast. It really impacted our next morning plans as we wanted to have breakfast and go for a walk at Lady Bower reservoir but instead had to source an alternative place for breakfast which left us with no time for the walk we’d planned. The only other negative was that we were told after eating our evening meal that it was last orders, it was 8:35-45pm or there abouts, it was Saturday night and the pub was a remote location. That in effect ended our evening with our friends.
