Hotel was good clean and modern with a good on site restaurant. Only downside was it’s right on the road and the windows did not stop the road noise which did wake me up a little early. All in all I was happy

Has strategically good place in Peak District where you can travel further around. However, hotel itself fails the main purpose - people pay to come to rest but you can't have this, as whoever designed this hotel had no clue about the sound. First, hotel is based next to the busy rails where trains pass every 30 minutes or so, waking you up. Second, room doors are banging all night long as people open and close, automatically banging so hard and loud that it could wake up a dead man. I had a sleepless night because of that. Would not recommend if someone is looking for rest because you won't get it. Breakfast is very basic: ham, egg, toast, donuts, coffee, flakes, cheese. Pretty much it. For the same price, you can get a much better breakfast if you go to the nearest coffee shop in the nearby town. Good for passing by but not for staying.
