Close to walks at Ladybower reservoir and Derwent Dam . Lovely welcoming pub and restaurant. We swapped our room for one with a bath after a long walk ( much needed ) staff could not have been more accommodating and were friendly, approachable and chatty . Room was lovely , with a bath and shower , large double bed slept well , very comfy . Had a meal in evening large portions ( just what you need after a good walk ) and sticky toffee pudding to share . Breakfast included cereals , yoghurt fruit plus choice of cooked breakfast .. very good breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again .

Everything as beautiful location and attention to detail when staying with them. If I could make a suggestion I wish they would have offered a smaller portion option on the evening meals. However the food served was excellent.
