We found everything about the Merchants Yard to be fantastic. We went to the restaurant which was great with good food and nice atmosphere. The waiting staff were friendly and professional. Our meal was also less expensive than we would have expected for what we had. We stayed one night and the room we had was truly exceptional. Large, clean, well appointed and with what I think might be the best bathroom I can remember using.(I had 3 showers and a bath in less than 24 hours just to enjoy using the facilities.) The accommodation staff were also great, very helpful and friendly. We were also offered complimentary drinks and EV charging as part of our stay. The location in Tideswell is near a number of other pubs and a short drive to Castleton and Buxton. I would thoroughly recommend The Merchants Yard to anyone thinking about eating or staying there.
