Room clean & snug. Great shower. Plumbing in bathroom not great, as water would not drain quickly from sink & it was difficult to flush the toilet. I found the bed comfortable. Staff very helpful- they provided me with couple of breakfast items due to my early start. Good parking behind the pub. My car was visible from room. About 20-30 minute drive to Mam Tor.

I had a really enjoyable and restful stay at the Miners Arms. The location in Eyam is perfect for exploring the Peak District, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep and a real sense of calm around the village. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference. I was also very grateful to be upgraded to a larger room when I extended my stay — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The room was comfortable, clean, and well suited to a quiet, relaxed break. The pub itself has a cosy, traditional atmosphere, and it’s an ideal place to unwind after a day out walking. Overall, it felt like a place where you can properly switch off while still being well looked after. I would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Peak District base with friendly hospitality.

Great stay at the Miners Arms. Warm, clean and very comfortable. Really lovely breakfast which I couldn’t fault. Staff were attentive and very welcoming, they couldn’t do enough for you. Excellent place to stay!

Recently visited for wedding in the village. Hotel was very accommodating, allowing early check in. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Set in lovely surroundings and served an excellent (and well needed) breakfast.
