Four Bedroom House With Private Pool - Stunning countryside location with parking close to Chester City Centre

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting , the pool area was amazing and the house was relaxing and spotless , the animals are lovely very friendly , we found the hosts nice to deal with and lee who welcomed us there was really pleasant and welcoming 10/10 , we loved our stay here and didn't want to leave (ever ) if you want to feel relaxed , and enjoy your own pool and beautiful views you will love this place

The location was very central whist also being quiet and peaceful. Was spacious and had everything you needed. Spec of the house was to a good standard. Pool spa area were exceptional

When I requested the property it was declined 3 times we were a family of 5 visiting the zoo. In the 4 attempt the request was accepted but the price had doubled from the first time. I still went ahead and booked as I had already promised my son a pool so just bit the bullet and booked. In my own error I had not added everyone onto the booking and booking.com had automatically put in 2 adults and I never thought for a minute the numbers were wrong since the price had gone up from first request . In the request you had to put in who was visiting and why so I put everyone there but did not realise the owner can’t necessarily link this directly to the booking. So when we arrived we were met by the owner who said she was only expecting 2 guests which was the reason the booking was accepted and advised there would be an extra charge which was a further £160 which I paid immediately but this made the cost £1060 for the 2 night stay. because of this I felt uncomfortable from the offset as it was a genuine mistake on my part but I felt embarrassed encase they thought I had done it on purpose. Never the less we were accommodated. The property and the pool house are both connected to the owners own home. The doors are locked up while guests are there and the owners leave you in peace however for me I was acutely aware the owner was next door when I book a rental I don’t normally ever feel conscious of that and felt we were in their space. Just personal preference though.
