The room was falling apart other peoples left over bits in wardrobe combs safety pins wardrobe broken the bathroom as a state mould all over the windows and as for the View all we could see was a flat roof

Very good TVs, kitchen and lounge area.

Room 8 needs completely redecorating. The bed next to the window needs to be replaced - including the mattress and bedding because it has bed bugs. Google Maps said Amitie House was at the western end of Christchurch road, in the centre of Bournemouth, but it was in Iford - a few miles away!

Booked for location and it wasn’t where it was advertised to be

We booked this for an event at the pier. Description says it’s a 12 minute walk, it is NOT! It is over an hour’s walk!

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Just a building with shit facilities. Not even worth 10£ per night. AVOID AVOID AVOID The worst spring mattress, our back hurt extremely after 2 nights. Floor full of trip hazards, dirty linen, got skin rash.

We booked room for my step daughter and partner, it turned into a nightmare, literally as there were four other guests staying there that were playing loud music, jumping around shouting all hours if the night, they were too scared to speak to them, I think we are owed compensation for a very bad experience

ROOM 9 Attic room sooo hot unbearable. No fan. No tea and coffee in room. No towels. Badly needs decorating and bathroom panel in poor condition and tiles hanging off.

A bit run down, not value for money

Comfortable bed. Hot water. Nice lounge, dining room and well equipped kitchen. Garden could be tidier. Good location

Told we could check in between 3 and 6. We were expecting a reception room. Arrived 3.30, place deserted. Rang two phone numbers we had and both went straight to voice mail. Did not receive a reply from either. Received email at 4 with door codes. Hot water in sink intermittent, also no plug! Shower had water but pipe leaked so just a dribble out of the shower head. Extractor fan not working. TV not working, just got a message ‘no internet connection’. Surely you don’t need one for BBC. Could do with tea making facilities in the room, we had mugs and glasses. Road quite noisy. I read from reviews that there are new managers, so I hope my review will point out what could be done to improve the guest house. I don’t think it is value for money at present.

Perfect. A nice house.

The location is only 10 minutes from bournemouth and 15 from Christchurch. Plenty of buses. Easy access to the house and plenty of room in the communal area. a nice garden to relax in. Super clean, and bright and airy. Full access to the kitchen. Tea and coffee available. All appliances and a nice dining area in the kitchen. Very large. Parking in front.

The other guests, footballers in town for the festival of 7's extremely noisy except at bedtime, and mid afternoon

Awful worst accommodation ever experienced.

Comfortable bed. Parking availability.

This is not a BandB. No host or staff. No coffee or tea in room as advertised. City view was roof tops and no where near city. Dirty room food scraps on floor. Wardrobe door jammed shut. Shabby decor. Broken toilet seat. No where near Bournemouth it’s a £20 uber ride each way.

Go somewhere else

The staff were helpful, getting me into the building.

The hotel was run down and in need of a good revamp. The lights didn't work, the carpets need to be replaced. The headboards on the bed came off, the windows don't shut, the place was cold, and the showers and toilets are disgusting. This is the worst hotel I've stopped in. I'm not fussy by any means, but this was not worth the price to stay here. There were no staff present in this hotel, everything was done over messages.

Eine schöne Unterkunft, gut, auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus) zu erreichen. Sehr sauber, schönes Haus, gut ausgestattet (sogar mit Waschmaschine). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
