Clean and comfortable accommodation right near the Sport Palais venue.

Location across the road from Sports Palais is ideal if you're travelling to attend a concert or event. Public transportation via the metro/underground is also very simple. There's not much around the area by way of shops or restaurants, but there are a few if you look them up and walk a short way.

The apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. However it would be nice to have had a small refrigerator and perhaps a microwave, and basic crockery/cutlery. Tea and coffee is supplied and a kettle.

Anders dan gehoopt

Het contact met de host was top en de gratis WiFi was ook erg fijn! Met instructies via whatsapp (omdat de host niet aanwezig was) konden we ook makkelijk binnenkomen! Daarbij was de locatie perfect voor een evenement in de AFAS Dome! Met 5 minuten lopen was je daar!

Bij binnenkomst voelde we ons niet zo fijn De foto’s lieten meer sfeer zien maar het voelde erg kil Bij de ramen/deur naar het terrasje waren geen gordijnen waardoor wij ons een soort van bekeken voelde (wat niet zo was en dat ligt echt puur aan ons) Het toilet was extreem klein en voor iemand die wat breder is of vrij lang is.. is dit niet heel comfortabel. Ook was de straat afgesloten wegens wegwerkzaamheden dus er was een smal weggetje om te lopen maar overal staken putdekseltjes erboven uit dus als iemand slecht ter been zou zijn had je daar niet chill gelopen! Het had fijn geweest als de host dat van te voren zou hebben doorgegeven

Perfecte locatie voor ons doel!

Wij hadden geboekt vanwege een concert in de Afas Dome, die ligt er bijna recht tegenover dus locatie helemaal goed. Verder zijn er vlakbij wat eet gelegenheden en barretjes die we bezocht hebben.

Over de accomodatie kan ik niet zeggen dat er iets tegenviel, maar als ik dan iets moet benoemen is dat mijn vrouw de trap naar boven wat steil vond, maar ondanks ons bezoek aan de barretjes ging de reis naar de 2e verdieping helemaal goed!

Ok pour une nuit mais pas plus

L’emplacement à quelques minutes de la salle de spectacle AFAS DOME, le lit était confortable, la salle de bain était propre, l’accès était facile et bien expliqué avec boîtier pour récupérer les clés.

Ce n’est pas du tout insonorisé, on entend tout de ce qui se passe dans les autres étages et dans le hall, les portes qui claquent plusieurs fois pendant la nuit, les bruits de chasse d’eau, les pas dans les escaliers, le coussin était trop fin pour moi, impossible de s’assoir sur les toilettes sans que vos genoux ne tape le mur, le mur est en face à 10 centimètres (cela dépend sans doute de la chambre choisie).

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this accommodation. We were two people and had rented the apartment on the top floor with two separate bedrooms and one separate bathroom. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that our area was freely accessible via the shared staircase. There was one bedroom on the left, the bathroom in the middle, and the second bedroom on the right – all without a private entrance or separation. A simple door at the top of the stairs would have been enough to make the area private. However, the listing states “private bathroom,” which is not accurate. One night, guests from the lower floor actually came upstairs through the staircase and used our bathroom without permission. When we confronted them, they claimed that the host had supposedly allowed them to use the bathroom upstairs – a statement we could not verify. This was a shock to us and completely unacceptable. We contacted the host, but he was very unfriendly and uncooperative. He only referred to the photos in the listing – which, however, do not clearly show the real situation. All I expect as a guest is an honest description stating that the top floor is not completely private and can be accessed by other guests via the staircase. I filed a complaint with Booking, and Booking reviewed the case, agreed with me, and provided assistance. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this accommodation. Communication with the host was unprofessional and impolite, and the property did not match the description.

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten das Apartment im obersten Stockwerk gemietet mit zwei einzelnen Schlafzimmern und einem extra privaten Badezimmer. Vor Ort stellten wir überrascht fest, dass unser Bereich im obersten Stock über das gemeinsame Treppenhaus frei zugänglich war. Links befand sich ein Schlafzimmer, in der Mitte das Badezimmer und rechts das zweite Schlafzimmer – alles ohne abgetrennten Zugang. Eine einfache Tür am Treppenhaus hätte genügt, um den Bereich privat zu halten. In der Beschreibung steht jedoch „privates Badezimmer“, was so nicht der Realität entspricht. Eines Nachts kamen tatsächlich fremde Gäste aus der unteren Etage über das Treppenhaus zu uns hoch und nutzten einfach unser Badezimmer. Auf Nachfrage gaben diese an, der Vermieter habe ihnen angeblich erlaubt, das Badezimmer oben mitzubenutzen – eine Aussage, die wir jedoch nicht überprüfen können. Das war für uns ein Schock und absolut inakzeptabel. Wir haben den Vermieter darauf angesprochen, doch leider reagierte er sehr unfreundlich und uneinsichtig. Er verwies lediglich auf die Fotos in der Anzeige – diese zeigen die tatsächliche Situation jedoch nicht eindeutig. Ich wünsche mir lediglich eine ehrliche Beschreibung der Unterkunft, in der klar erwähnt wird, dass der obere Bereich nicht vollständig abgeschlossen ist und über das Treppenhaus frei zugänglich bleibt. Ich habe mich daraufhin an Booking gewendet. Booking hat meine Beschwerde geprüft, mir zugestimmt und entsprechend reagiert. Fazit: Ich kann diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unprofessionell und unhöflich, und die Unterkunft entsprach nicht der Beschreibung.

De ligging van sportplaza tov het sportpaleis. Werkelijk op 10 min loopafstand. Kamer was ruim genoeg, bedden waren prima. Douche was ruim opgezet. In de buurt voldoende eetgelegenheden.

De straat voor sportplaza is met aan t renoveren. Dus je kunt er alleen te voet komen. Daarnaast is parkeren een crime, helemaal met concerten in het sportpaleis.

Prima bedden, fijne grote badkamer. Ideale ligging voor concert in AFAS Dome, straat oversteken en je bent er.

Parkeren in omgeving hotel is wat lastiger. Wij hadden gelukkig een parkeerplaats bij AFAS Dome waar we de auto tot de volgende ochtend mochten laten staan.

locatie is top als je een concert hebt in het Sportpaleis, maar de locatie is basic

de hulp van de eigenaar, nadat we hadden gemeld dat het beddengoed niet fris rook, kwam hij meteen ter plekke dit regelen.

Gordijnen in de kamer achter, als je uit de douche kwam stond je meteen in de kamer en er waren geen gordijnen

Het verblijf was zoals op de foto’s. De bedden waren zeer comfortabel. De kamer had hotelallures, alles was aanwezig wat ik nodig had. Eigenaar was behulpzaam, vriendelijk en snel te bereiken. Antwerpen was makkelijk te bereiken met de metro en bussen dichtbij de accommodatie.
