Perfect location to base for WW1 tours

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Location was great, a nice stroll to the Menin Gates for evening service. Lots of space to spread out, great shower!

Great value studio in a quiet area of Ypres, but minutes walk from the action

The studio is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. It is located on the first floor of a property on a corner block in a very lovely part of town that is around 4-5min walk from the main square and the cloth fair building (which is absolutely incredible to see!). The studio space is very generous, the view across the quiet residential neighbourhood is charming, and the locals that we interacted with were also lovely. The shower and water pressure were fantastic, the space very calming and relaxing. One bedroom, with a second bed in the living space but separated by a door so it was very comfortable and private enough for two friends who were on a cycling trip, and needing twin beds. They were bigger than single beds too, quite decent in size. We were able to store our bicycles downstairs in the hallway, it felt secure. If in town, we would highly recommend seeing the Last Post ceremony at the bridge and war memorial, every evening at 8pm. We were lucky enough to witness an extended version of the ceremony due to having the New Zealand Prime Minister in town. It was very moving. The city is fantastic and I would definitely go back, and highly recommend Studio Maro.

On arrival, the host had sent details to access the keys from a lock box outside the property door. But there were no keys! From what I understand happened (with my limited Dutch/Flemish) the cleaner or host had forgotten to leave the key in the box after cleaning the property. A helpful neighbour saw us having trouble and was able to call the host and explain the situation, and within about 5min he had turned up to hand us a key. I don't think this is normal, just a mistake, whoops.

The door code supplied on the day of our arrival via Booking.com was wrong! Fortunately we had our host's telephone number who gave us the correct door code.

Location was perfect. Apartment was clean and modern.

Our only issue was not having the key press code on arrival , however that was quickly fixed with a phone call.

Lovely inner city accommodation.

Lovely roomy accommodation. Comfortable beds. Great tea selection. Loved the massage chair! Great location. Parking could be a problem as described in the notes, but we had no problem parking on the street using the blue disc allowing for 2 hours parking each time.

A few little things, but didn't detract from the overall experience.

Leuke plek, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heel vlot contact met de verhuurder. Men deed de gehoopte inspanning ivm bagageopslag. Heel fijn. Het was een mooi appartementje, alles herl netjes onderhouden, op wandelafstand van het treinstation.

Uitstekende plek voor een bezoek aan Yper

De locatie was ideaal voor Yper e.o. Voor de deur 2 uur vrij parkeren met kaart. Goed appartement met in woongedeelte complete inrichting.

In de slaapkamer was niets behalve een bed, geen kast of stoel en geen nachtkastje o.i.d. om ‘s nachts iets op te leggen. Iets te sober en super onhandig!

Mooie plek in een leuk stadje.

De plek, het appartement was schoon en ruim.

Er hangen geen gordijnen of verduistering in de woonkamer, waardoor het heel vroeg licht werd voor degenr dien op de slaapbank sliep. Dat vonden wij een heel groot nadeel. En er is geen koffiezetapparaat.

de slaapkamer kan niet verduisterd worden (er zijn geen gordijnen of iets anders om het raam te verduisteren, er is enkel een store om inkijk te vermijden), er waren geen lakens (enkel dekens)

Fijn appartement

Het bed sliep heerlijk, appartement was heel licht, door alle ramen. Mooi appartement, fijne douche. En een heerlijke massagestoel!

De koelkast deed het niet goed (ookal hadden we deze op de max gezet) en er was geen donker gordijn op de slaapkamer. We konden de thermostaat niet vinden, want het was heel warm binnen (wat dan weer beter is dan heel koud)

Makkelijk en snelle afhandeling. Sleutel verkregen met een kluisje bij de deur, werkt super wat mij betreft. Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding in het centrum van Ieper.
